This is 100% fake! I know because I tried several times and no change, also Casio did the watch in the that smoke colour, funny how he can do a side by side comparison with 2 very new looking watches! SCAM, FAKE, DO NOT BOTHER TRYING!!

Can an EL unit of a model be added to a watch another non back light model or is the construction of EL sandwiched in between the display layer current driven through the zebra strips, which is not possible?

I bought this watch for both the aesthetics and the steptracker but the Module No. 5641 that came with it never explained the Display button, not even briefly 😭😂 It just says refer to Operation Guide available on the Casio website 😅

The fakes are getting much better to the point that it all comes down to slight dimensional differences between the 2. If i bought a fake one for halft the price and it looked just as good, i wouldn't really care.

Just got a 2001 reprint DW-5000-1 ,it has a face of original but stainless steel 5600 case , it's a cool everyday warch because all the 5600 bezels fit it perfectly

Awesome tutorial, got this one a few days ago in full black, decided it is time to change Casio W-42H 1AV (still working since 2006) to something newer but it was a little mess with settings 😅😅😅 now, almost everything is understandable

Serial numbers can also be copied sometimes and there are fakes available like that, I have once seen apple airpods fake with even serial number verification and warranty info. If you have doubts in your mind, go to your nearby Casio store and ask them to verify.

I think if they gave it a way to check the battery level on the watch it would mess with the divers but it's the only feature i feel is a must have on a solar powered watch.
