I'm really trying to follow; the steps are super easy, but I'm messing up on the connecting it into the round. 😢 It keeps twisting and not joining up correctly. 😭 I'm going to give it a day try again 🤞 tomorrow maybe with fresh 👀 i can see where I'm twisting. My daughter really wanted a big bow for her hair and fell in love with yours. So hopefully tomorrow I'll manage!

i know i’m crazy late to the party but my teenage daughter wanted me to leave a comment on this vid saying thank you for the instructions!! she worked on it for ~2-3 days and made a cute periwinkle colored beanie that she loves sooo much 😂😂 she did have a question though: she said her panels where she does only sc in the back loop always shrink even though she maintains good tension and has the same stitch count… any advice? thx sm!
@CherilynQ4 күн бұрын
Aww that's so precious and I appreciate the comment so much! It's normal for it to shrink a little but if it's a lot, consider making the chains a bit tighter. Hope this helps! 🥰

This is quite difficult for absolute beginner 😂 I crochet for few months, and i took quite some time to actual see which stitch to insert, to tell different stitches and chain. I made phone bag using single crochet it’s hard to tell, and it got skinny lol. For newbies it’s good to start with small amigurimi. But i still love this tutorial. I made a cactus crochet but didn’t tell how to sew it together. 😂

I love this tutorial, but, a problem I have with crocheting beanies, they always warp? They keep getting smaller chains, then the sides are slanted. You get what I mean? Do you know how i can prevent this? Thank you so much
@CherilynQ4 күн бұрын
I think so - it sounds like you decreased by accident. You can use stitch markers to mark the first and the last stitch of each row, so that you don't miss any stitches. Hope this helps!
