How do you know if you’re starting the hood on the correct side or does it not matter?? Thanks in advance!!

Using dark yarn makes it hard to see stitches

This was very simplified and I learned how to make that triangle u did at the start of each row, with the sc, then sc on the left loop! That will come in handy in so many stuff I make up! It looks so much neater. Thank you.

Great video! I consinder myself a beginner and find the pace really good. Why do you work in the back loop only?

Hi, I'm a newbie crocheter. I used color changing yarn but I don't like the color at the bottom, where my chain is. Is it okay to undo the chain and a few rows at the bottom and attach newest finished rows to that now chainless bottom or is the chain an absolutely necessary part, helping it not to unravel or something?

I feel like it's kind of ridiculous to not include a COMPLETE tutorial, then tell viewers to go watch another video to figure it out. I don't think I'll be watching any other video from you.

I like to believe I’m intermediate in patterns and not a beginner but sometimes I have issues with patterns especially when it’s not written out 🥲

I've been crocheting for a long time, but only making 2D projects. But I've been trying to make a hat using this method. However, I kept having to unravel it because my edges kept looking like a mountain range. All my other projects have just been straightforward and didn't require counting. It never occurred to me to count my loops or rows so they'd be straight. Now it makes so much more sense! Thank you!
