Thank you so much for sharing your privacy curtain method. I'm definitely going to use this for my Grand Caravan minivan! I've been watching so many videos trying to come up with an easy and effective way to hang a curtain along that curved ceiling arch and you nailed it! Aprreciate you sharing it with us:-)

Omg! I literally came here to find ideas on how to put shelves in that exact same spot in my mini van! I hated that there was wasted space. AND, I have the exact same shelves! Why did I think you using a bungee cord?! Thanks so much for the information!

We were in room 10537 and had the sound of running water in the wall in the closet of the master bedroom. It didn’t bother my husband but drove me crazy. Loved the rest of the cabin. Your sounds were worse than ours

Oh I forgot to mention in the master there was a constant noise behind the TV like machinery running. I loved the cabin and the ship was beautiful 😍

Thanks for posting the room problems. They need to have cabin info look ups like they do for disney rooms. So you can check out any noise problems with a chosen cabin. We had noise early and late mornings because of them moving deck chairs.

We were on your same trip quebec to nyc. I've always wondered what an interor family suite looks like, we always book it as a balcony or in the haven. I would miss sitting outside and the larger bathroom in the master. But its a good option. Yes having two rooms has changed the way we cruise.

I spend a very small fraction of my cruise in the cabin. The fact that it was during the day and early evening should basically pose vey little issues regarding sleep or just hanging out in cabin. This wouldn't bother me and to be honest, complaining about a noise issue such as this is rather petty, and there is probably 80% of the world who would trade their lives to be able to go on a cruise in a suite like you had.

I didn't care for their repetitive menu. Have not tried RC yet. Princess and Holland America were much better.

I've only been on 4 cruises in my life. I used Princess in May to Alaska and gotta say, everything was amazing including their menus.

@@lakesailor123 Reviews of cruise lines and cruise ships are HIGHLY, HIGHLY subjective. What one person likes/dislikes may be no issue at all for another person. And you know what they say, you can't please all of the people all of the time. Take cruise reviews with a grain of salt.

@@l.wallace4252 If you watched the video, you would realize it wasn't constant 24/7 and I'm willing to bet 95% the time this noise went on was when they weren't even in the cabin. I went to the the NCL site and checked the deck plans and found this cabin next to a large empty space, which is a crew service area where a lot of noise can be generated from, which means she picked a cabin that may be a potential noise issue on the cruise, in other words, her noise complaint is on her. Basically, if you pick cabin under a night club, you can't complain about noise..........do your research.

I didn't pick the cabin. A NCL rep did when I upgraded. I unfortunately didn't have a deck plan in front of me. Once they quit the noise at night all was good. I was out on excursions during the day!

I saw a woman put the passenger seat all the way to the dash recline it then put something soft under dash to hold her pillow then sleep with her feet over the headrest use a camping mattress and soft comforter to fill in odd area's the armrest has to be up left then push the bed mattress up then down to fit tight . My hubby tried it 😮

Hi Deb, I love your setup ! I have a similar setup in my Honda Odyssey and find it very efficient, but I’ve gotten a few ideas from you. what brand of camp toilet do you have ? Is it a separating toilet ? I’m currently using a 5 gallon luggable loo. I think yours is smaller. I like that you use the wood pellets, they work great. Also love the toilet cover 😊 that adds a lovely touch ❤

It's pipe strapping found in your local hardware. I covered it with wide seam binding and it's held up with cubicle clips and tucked under the button that holds the headliner. It's also tucked into the pillars in the sides. The curtain is a black tablecloth sewed to a wall Tapestry. I sewed earth magnets to the top. It sticks well to the strapping. I've been meaning to do a tutorial on this.

@@wanderinggypsydeb Wow..love your smile and thanks so much for saying hi...a TA friend shared a Dolphin DecK mini suite on Star Princess Innaugural...one of my few handful of cruises but i can not imagine from just watching online..liking any Princess ship class better...and the way they did the atrium mosaics and metal work by elevators...just everything...and these rooms are lovely with the marvle and closet and we were on the dophin dect too!!
