Hello! Thank you so much for sharing this. Hoping this comment is seen although it’s been a few years … Did you measure out the size of the corners you cut from the playing card or did you just eyeball it? I’m wondering if these need to be precise. I’m wanting to recreate this project but using the Bicycle brand “large print” playing cards specifically. My idea is that it would be much easier (& much more neat!) to cut the card in half, instead of trying to cut the same sized corner out of each of the cards. But since I’d now be using 1/2 a card, instead of less than about a 1/4, I’m assuming my board will need to be bigger than 14x14? TIA

Great job making the game. The rules were confusing though. I know how to play but a newbie might be head scratching at your rules. Anyways, kudos on the board. I've found it very hard to find chips. My aim was to make the game as cheap as possible. Otherwise buying a jumbo game would be easier. I ended up making my own chips out of precoloured popsicle sticks chopped in thirds. I also wanted to be able to rearrange the cards so I put little pieces if Velcro on the back. Not sure this'll work out so well as it can't be sealed physically and the cards need to be rearrangeable. Hmm. In hindsight it's taking me waay too much time and thought to make my 'changeable' board. Oh my...🫤 obviously I'm trying to put too much into my board trying to make it changeable. If I make a new game the clear cast isn't available where I am and ordering it online makes the price waay to much. Oh dear...what have I got myself into? 😟

HaHa, talk about late to the party! I love your folio and your "sarcastic" attitude. I've been doing paper crafts forever and don't believe anything is new. Anyway after a couple years of health problems I am trying to get my creativity back and think folios are just what I need. Your folio is beautiful and I might have to "copy" some of your ideas. I have had an expression for years.. Will this still work? I have not used my machine in years either. I could use some help. When I went to a site of Cricut they said it was no longer useable .. HELP fellow Cricuteers!!
