It was a long time ago. LOL. But, if I remember correctly and going from the date I uploaded it, yes. I had the resonators removed after I put the GT500 mufflers on and I still had the H pipe and cats. When I went to the X pipe, I deleted the cats.

I had a 1986 Thunderbird Turbo Coupe with the SVO intercooler in the grill. Like your's, not a lot below 3,000 rpm (so if you had to pass in an emergency like a sudden lane change at cruising speed, you didn't have much torque to work with unless you had the time to think to downshift. the 1986 GT Mustang that came after the t'bird had the torque of the V8 and its small ports and valves). And you're right about your T5, i heard the overide of the synchos in 4th :) But for a pleasure drive, they were great, and for long distance, they were better than a tin can economy car getting the same fuel economy.

Love the turbo sound on a ponny/chevy motor . They are a air sucker monster n thts why turbo on it sound incredible. Great build bro , always wish i can have one like this but in my country which is Malaysia, i cant afford it to have hemi engine cause here roadtax is count by liter 😅 . This is how to calculate a roadtax in Malaysia by liter , 1.0L -1.3L rm30 ( around 6usd ) , 1.31L - 1.5L (rm60 ( around 12usd) , 1.51L - 1.8L rm120 ( around 17usd ) , 1.81L - 2.0L rm300 ( around 60usd ) . After 2.01L it will count rm2 per 1cc . Which mean if i drive a v8 500ci hemi ( 8.1L ) it would be rm16k ( around 3k USD) per year . Thats just a roadtax, insurance not that high but still expensive to me 😅 . So its not cheap here in Malaysia to own a big engine .

I had just installed it. Obviously, it helps because you can hold a steady RPM. I need to add the module that allows timing retard while on the 2 step to build boost.

@@mbreinin Sounds like the way to go. I don't have any of these aides and got terrible launches with slow 60' times on first trip to local 1/8 mile track with my Turbocoupe powered fox. Fortunately launches aren't that critical when autocrossing it.
