It starts to get fun on an accelerated 16-bit machine but the poor old 8-bits never had much chance with 3D like this. That’s a very unforgiving score 😅

Love this video. Can't beat the Hit Squad either. Hard Drivin' - not a fun game exactly, but rewarding once you get the hang of it. Glad you are giving the CPC some love. I have to rotate my 'eras' - it's been Mega Drive for most of this week, PS2 today....but I play the CPC pretty much every week. Interesting you picked Hard Drivin' - a simulator, today. I played Gran Tourismo 4 on PS2 today, and I have the same view of both....not always fun, but very rewarding. Happy CPC' ing!

HARD DRIVIN' is a legendary Arcade conversion on the Amiga 😺👍🕹️. But when i bought the Commodore 64 version of this game in a compilation called TNT back in October 2022, i was like: "OH... MY... MEOWING... GOD 😹!!!" The Commodore 64 version has the main intro music 🎵🎶, and it is brilliant 😺👍. But the gameplay 🕹️... AAAAAAAARGH 😹!!! I can also see, that you are suffering from the hard drivin' problems 😹. Well, at least, you did your best 😸😺👍🕹️.

Ah mate, we haven't all abandoned you, i'm still fronting up every week. Your channel is awesome! On the game, agreed! It's a dust collector mate sitting on the shelf. I too own a copy of this one but never play it, have no interest in playing pass time games in a video game. Interesting thing I noticed is that they spelt the title the proper English way rather than the American way ''Parlour Games'' instead of ''Parlor Games''. ☺

If the score is a 6, that is because it got averaged with your shirt score: (9+3)/2=6. What is that, a plastic rain coat disguised as kids shirt? Golden Axe warrior is great though, it is what Zelda should have been on the NES, but wasn't because back then they did not understand shit yet on how to program the NES, and ROM chips were way too expensive. A bit like what Hudson soft did on the PC Engine: do Zelda right. I think both Neutopia and this are better examples of Zelda done right than Nintendo's own attempt with Link to the Past. That game is killed by 1) a too big world, 2) stupid glitches that makes strange loopholes to do 3 min speedruns, 3) horrible music. It sounds so bad compared to Neutopia II, I understand they turned it into classic orchestra renditions. It is unbearable on your Stereo Trinitron.

I still have PAPERBOY for my Commodore 64 on the tape (Encore, CiB) and disk (Elite, loose) 😺👍🕹️. The Sega Master System version of this game looks graphically cool 😺👍🕹️. Terrific game! I own a copy of this on the Master System and Mega Drive, both ports are great but the Mega Drive one is the superior one in my view and it's probably my favourite Pacman game out of them all. This game has that Mortal Kombat AI counter bullshit in it. In the later stages the ghosts jump at the exact time YOU jump so jumping over them is near impossible just like in Mortal Kombat when you jump at the opponent, the opponent throws an air projectile at you. Great video Clint. 💥😀

Hey I respect the hell out of you Clint but this is one of those rare occasions where I completely disagree with you, bad call mate, you badly misjudged this one in my opinion. I got this game when I was 14 and have loved it ever since. Outrun Europa is a great racer for the Master System that also has a great soundtrack, it doesn't need FM synthesis as Matt Furniss gives it a solid PSG groove and look how far you got on your second try, you made it to the jetski level, so with a little more patience and practise you'll get even farther next time. By the way you were supposed to ram into the other jetski guy to get rid of him otherwise he'll keep draining your shield til you die. The game has 5 levels 1. Motorbike 2. Jetski 3. Black Porsche 4. Speed boat 5. Red Ferrari It's a solid game and definitely on the shelf for another day. 8/10 🥰
@RetroRewind7710 күн бұрын
To be fair I was a little harsh on it and like I said think I need more time on it to enjoy it more and a game I would have liked more as a kid. Don’t worry it’s better than an RPG game 😂
@Oysterblade8410 күн бұрын
That is sometimes the problem when you go into a game you've never played before and judge it all based on that one try. Sometimes great games like this one don't get a chance to shine through on the player because of one bad experience with it. Outrun Europa isn't perfect, it has a low frame rate and the controls can get annoying not to mention a saw thumb from holding up constantly but it really is a decent Outrun title and way better than ''Battle Outrun'' but I respect your opinion Clint and enjoyed the video, it would be boring if we all agreed anyway and everyone has their own experiences with different games so it's all good. Great video mate and catch you on the next one. 😎

You just have to learn where and when you can ''outrun'' the cops. If your turbo is gone you can shoot the cops down with your ammo or ram into them on the side to get rid of them.
@Oysterblade8410 күн бұрын
When all your turbo is used up you can still shoot them down with your ammo and or ram into them from the side to make them explode. Just a case of learning when and where to move around on the road. 😀
