Yeah, me too. I always wondered about that because yes Cam said it at the last minute, but also both of them lost focus and basically a bullet of light was free in all the realms to kill the dark shadows. 2:07

This spell was a scene in the actual second book in the T*Witches book series called BUILDING A MYSTERY. I don't think it was to vanquish thantos but Cade who was a warlock in the second book who was responsible for disappearances of Cam and Alex's friends
