I want to work on pump foiling and get the SAB 1550 or even the 1750 for flat water starts. I have a question my fuselage. I am going to get an adapter for the AXIS 75 Mast. My current setup: Freedom Dagger 7’5’ 110L 1350 Leviathan SAB 83 Mast (not the new super stiff one) Stab 380 Fuse 753 I’m 86.2 Kg. I’m worried about 753 breaking. Gong requires a titanium fuse with their HA wings and I’ve seen videos of fuselages breaking with the HA front wings. Also any thoughts on the 380 The current setup works great for light winds but I might need a shorter mast and maybe a shorter fuselage?

Does this new board make it much easier to takeoff versus a standard larger wingfoil board? I live in low wind 5-10kts area and I’m hoping it can help take off. I weigh 90kg

What do you weight? And how do you rate the volume compared to other brands, Some seem to be a lot more floaty with 100l as others

I’m 87 with wetsuit The board is really 100lt It’s floaty very well because max Galtarossa put the volume in the right place

19 knots not so fast but the RZR980 have an excellent smoothness and huge gliding in light wave conditions and above all fantastic low-end at slow speed and pump attitude.Now is out the pro version faster than 1st version, but needs more wind. 980 with a slick 5.5 starts in 10knots wind

In total flat in Supfoil 1750 is unbelievable But if u want something of more physical 1550 work fine too

Thank you so much for your reply. While I can pump the Axis 1310 and 1300 very well (dockstart), I really struggle with both for flat water paddle up. I think the 1750 could help me given that I am not that young anymore (50yo at 80 kg). Any fuselage and stab you would recommand purely for flat water paddle up? I was thinking 703 with S430? if your thin thin thin young well trained ist may be easy. I am quite skilled (kite foiler since 9 years) but not young (57) and heavy (100 kg / 180 cm) it is very very very hard. in fact, ok I am training since April, an since mid August I got out a little bit...but I can't actually pump further (I had a break for some weeks because of holiday on the atlantic - normal sup waveriding there.

Ciao, c'è molta differenza fra 1550 e 1350? Ero interessato al 1350 ma non vorrei fosse troppo simile come range all'axis 1150 che ho. Con axis 1150 non riesco ancora a partire sul flat ma con onde anche piccole sì e con wing 8-9 knot vado. Grazie

In sup direi di sì con 1550 parti bene anche in flat con 1350 no In dockstart dipende dal tuo peso

Per il light wind in wing io farei la razor 980 Ma se come dici non vuoi cambiare fusoliera allora vai di 1150 di sicuro planerai prestissimo

Io uso W1100 per wing foiling con vento leggero, vorrei provare una front che consenta di salire in foiling con una brezza leggera e di restare in foiling con un alito di vento. Secondo te può aver senso usare la WL1750 per questo scopo?

Ciao Sicuramente la serie Leviathan nasce con lo scopo di fare un passo verso al foiling in condizioni estremamente limitative come assenza di onde e vento Ridefinendo i parametri dell’uscita in mare La 1750 1550 e 1350 sono ali specifiche per pump foil o sup in condizioni leggere Come tutta la serie generano tanto glide con un low end enorme Hanno velocità di stallo assurda quando sei quasi fermo ancora portano Ovvio che poi non puoi chiedere a questo genere di ali di oltrepassare i 12-13 nodi Altro discorso vale per la 1150 e 950 che prendono tanto come caratteristiche dalle sorelle maggiori ma poi usate con la wing hanno più senso Ti permettono di planare con 1 mt di vela in meno rispetto ad una pari ala di pari superficie Passano bene i 15 nodi Il loro campo di utilizzo riguarda il wingfoil downwind (danno molto lift con vela scarica)servono per giocare con le onde a chi piace la spinta del mare piuttosto che il tiro del vento Come le più grandi sentono molto il pump di gambe Se usate con nuova fusoliera 644 sono veramente divertenti La 1150 porta sicuramente molto di più della 1100 parte tanto prima Poi per le tre più grandi ritengo che vadano usate con piantone 73p dedicato Perché per giocare in wing è vero che con 1750 sei sai pompare bene di gamba esci anche con 5 nodi ma poi non sviluppa più di 10 11! Nodi Se guardi i reel di Baltz lui pompando con vela sale in assenza di vento usando la tavola sup downwind Tieni poi presente che la tavola incide tanto nel take-off Io uso una tavola downwind con carena specifica Se hai una classica tavola da wing non rende allo stesso modo Io per planare presto prenderei la 1150 se sei sotto gli 80kg altrimenti fai la 1350 se poi come me ami fare Supfoil ha senso per essere usata anche in wing per fare incavolare gli altri quando nn c’è vento Non andrei oltre perché se poi non hai una tavola specifica Una valida alternativa per light wind è anche la tortuga 1250 che assomiglia tanto a Lev1150 Sicuramente con questa serie di ali SABFOIL ha ridefinito il concetto di foil non ha caso i competitors si stanno aggiornando ma non con gli stessi risultati Vanno in foil in acqua piatta ma con una fatica enorme,mostrando video di pro rider Con 1750 si sale senza fatica se ti passa una barca vicino è come salire sul tram,senza biglietto 😂😂
