The first Black Sabbath album came out in 1970 so it was actually 37 years from that point to Ozzy's first #1 hit. The Osbournes probably increased his popularity and that was him capitalizing on it.
@RockOfAllAges-81Ай бұрын
It was 31 years because of the #1 hit he had in 2001.

Torn was okay. Maybe I should have tried to be more professional, but while they have moments when they’re decent, Creed would be easier to tolerate if they hadn’t been so ubiquitous and if Scott Stapp wasn’t… well, Scott Stapp.

Black hole Sun was the time I wasn’t afraid to listen to rock out loud. I came from a home where that kind of music was disturbing lol Now as for AIC “no excuses”, it wasn’t really one of my top fave but can we all agree that Layne looks like a leprechaun in that video? 😂

Other songs made it big.. My Heart is Broken was a music video that MTV played a lot... same with Everybody's Fool.. Imperfection from Synthesis did well too and heard it on radio... Then Wasted on Your was nominated for the VMAs and The Game is Over was one of the most played hard rock songs in 2020 from Spotify it featured a lot of playlist... Their time between albums has always impacted then on sales but their concerts from years and years after years has always been sold out for the most part in every part of the world even when they did touring without a new record for years.. They are the second most listened female frontend band on Spotify with almost 12million listeners per month. Their music videos make it quick to the million views and every release of album has been #1 worldwide so maybe they don't sold 17 million copies as with Fallen but they still do amazing in any other aspect. The Open Door sold about 7 million copies and The Self titled album around 3.5Million copies worldwide.. even after 5 years gap between the second and 3rd record they still came back each time making an impact or increasing in relevance

Probably the best songs on the 2011 album are the bonus tracks, which is kind of wild.
