The information provided should never replace informed counsel when specific tax lien investing related guidance is needed. Selling a property acquired through a tax lien auction, and a general warranty deed has been obtained, provides the buyer in the transaction with a guarantee that the seller owns the property free & clear and has the legal authority to sell the property. Selling a property acquired through a tax lien auction and title insurance has been obtained is just that. Title insurance does pass with transfer of title. The buyer in the transaction has the option to purchase title insurance to protect themselves from financial loss related to problems with title. I am looking at doing direct investment on a well. I want to put it in my daughter's name. The money from this I was going to use to fund a Roth IRA and a 529. Is this something that is do able with IRS rules? "Earned income" My daughter will be four (4) next month.
