Hello! Good video! I have drum samples in 48000hz which are part of a song... i see the roland does not accept 48khz... will the drums change pitch or duration if i trasnform them to 44khz before uploading them to the roland? If so, what do i need to do to have it playing them right? Thanks
@DrumWiseDrumTuition7 жыл бұрын
Hello, Thanks a lot :) Sadly I'm not sure as this is more of a DAW question. I think when you convert the sample rate when the track is already in the DAW it won't affect the speed/pitch.

Do we have the choke effect with these aerodrums?
@DrumWiseDrumTuition7 жыл бұрын
No, sadly you can't choke cymbals.

Just a question apologies if you have answered this in the past, but can you split vocal parts from a track to then add to the SPD-SX? I was looking to add some sample vocals from a track to play along live. Might save having a vocalist!
@DrumWiseDrumTuition7 жыл бұрын
Hello, yes you can totally do this if you have the stem files. Just make sure you bounce/convert them to a WAV before trying to put them on the SPD :-)

My Friend has this and the first thing he did it was laugh because he did it in front of family and they though it was it something fake then after a hour of doing it. His parents was shocked and actual impressive with it. So i would recommend this to a person who dont have drums and want to try out it.

This pad looks great and has way more features than I will ever even think of using. Can you recommend a sample pad that is more basic (if one exists). Thanks!
@DrumWiseDrumTuition8 жыл бұрын
Hi, Roland have the TM2 module which is a smaller version of this, but you need to use external triggers: www.roland.com/global/products/tm-2/
@URKillingme1008 жыл бұрын
DrumWise Drum Tuition Thanks. That's actually just the opposite of what I need. I already have a SP-505 sampler and I'd like to buy a multi-pad to trigger it.

I think it is weird that you can only PAD LINK two pads together in a Kit. I'd like to PAD LINK 1 and 2; but also PAD link 4 and 5. I like to route PADS 1 and 4 (which have click) to the sub outs and route PADS 2 and 5 (which have just music) to FOH. But, I can't do that as only 1 pad link (of 2 pads) seem to be possible in a single kit. Any thoughts?

Hi Dave, sorry but I've never used the Pad Link function so I'm not able to help on this occasion :-/ Good Luck!!

Hi, nice video. I'm thinking of buying the new PD-128S-BC snare drum pad. Do you recommend it? What can you tell me about it. There is no much information about it on the web. Tks.

If your computer meets the criteria or requirements, and have plenty of ram and speed. no lag.

This is just awesome!! But the whole camera not coming with the kit and it being super expensive and needing reflectors and having to be connected only to a computer is disappointing. There's a new product coming oht called freedrums which is completely portable and connects to pc tablets and PHONES check it out on kickstarter "freedrums air drums kit"
@DrumWiseDrumTuition8 жыл бұрын
Hello, if you buy the kit directly from the Aerodrums website the camera IS included, and so are all the reflectors and sticks. The kit is about £135 from the Aerodrums site, which is really not that bad! The problem with 'Freedrums" is that you can't use your feet, so it doesn't even come close to Aerodrums in our opinion!
@Dlg9168 жыл бұрын
'Freedrums' comes with attachments/units that you attach onto any sticks of your choice AND FEET. Meaning it does EVERYTHING with all 4 units. ALSO the Aerodrums sticks are specifically made for the program with reflectors on the tip etc which restricts you from being able to use drum pads. You will mess up the tips and the reflectors etc. with 'FREEDRUMS' you could set up drum pads since the units are placed on the stick body and you could practice WITH REBOUND.

Hi, I am so tempted to get one of these 'kits', I am a keyboard played/producer, what I would like to know is how does this work with Cubase, I also have (if its any help) a Steiberg UR22 audio/midi interface, will it work together? Great drumming by the way.
@DrumWiseDrumTuition8 жыл бұрын
Hi Chris, sorry for the delay in getting back to you. I use it with Logic and it works fine. You just have to route the audio correctly from the software to the DAW. I don't use Cubase so I'm not sure how it work with this I'm afraid.

Considering the fact that the gear isn't worth a fraction of the price, it must really do a great job to be worth that money! What about lags, "latency" or that like? Does it feels natural?
@DrumWiseDrumTuition8 жыл бұрын
Hi Hans, it actually is a lot of equipment for the money when you consider how much time and effort must have gone into the software to make it behave in the way it does. I know that I couldn't make it myself! I've been playing drums for about 17 years and I can honestly say that this is a great piece of kit and feels great to play. Of course, it's not the same as an acoustic drum kit and will never feel the same, but it serves a purpose :-) There's no latency that I have experienced yet.

@anderssvendsen47348 жыл бұрын
Nice video man! I only have one question: How did you get the click track to go in your ears and not to the front of house? I know there is a sub out possibility on the spds- sx but it seemed like your click was together with your backing track on the same wave file? And then the audience will here the click, right?
@DrumWiseDrumTuition8 жыл бұрын
Hi Anders, you have to pan the click in your DAW (such as Logic) to make sure the audience don't hear it. For example, I pan the click hard left, then the backing track that the audience will hear to the right. You then give the sound guy a feed from the right output and either plug your in ears directly into the headphone port of the module, or plug the left output into your onstage mix. I hope that makes sense! :-)

@DrumWiseDrumTuition8 жыл бұрын
+Slammer Thanks for the question. Yes you can add other things to the kit in the programme such as a cowbell and a tambourine, even double pedal. We haven't used the percussion parts with Superior Drummer but the rest work perfectly :-)
@slammer75208 жыл бұрын
+DrumWise Drum Tuition No, i actually mean, can you add more than 3 Toms or 5 Cymbals ? Is it that flexible ?
@DrumWiseDrumTuition8 жыл бұрын
+Slammer Oh I see. Not actually tried more than 5 cymbals but I believe it's possible yes. You can definitely have more than 3 toms. Would it be helpful if we did a video to show you?
