Bought the cable, the trezor reads " no usb connection" in red. Also notice your Trezor is set to No Pin, is that a requirement to work with app?

PIN is not a requirement. No USB connection means you either need to allow this device in Settings, or use other better USB cable (yours might be charging-only).

It is called USB On-the-go (OTG). Most modern smartphones have it. The phone sends power through the USB indeed

Private keys never leave your Trezor. It's like a small computer - all important is done inside the hardware wallet and not on the phone/PC.

@@21walletsquestion. Then why wouldn’t you just buy a pc laptop. Cheap one and only do transactions for MetaMask. Like strictly use it for MetaMask.

@@japreet_kah cause when you buy it 2nd/3rd hand the entities it’s been through, they can inject code into the wallet to steal your money and send it somewhere else. That’s what was happening when they were relatively new. I know I would NEVER EVER trust putting thousands of dollars on a device that you have zero idea where it’s been or who touched it before you. If you bought it from Amazon or somewhere else, I’d cut your losses and buy another one from the actual company. Better to lose a small amount of money than take a bigger risk and risk losing everything. I’d never trust my money to the internet like that
