Rachel Griffith is a great actress she was the only 1 to play Brenda, you wouldn't know she was from Australia with the performance she put on series Six Feet Under congrats to her win for the Golden Globe. 🏆

How wonderful! Brenda is my favorite character in SFU, my favorite TV show of my life. And I'm an old MF who started with Lassie and Sea Hunt! Breaks my heart to see Aniston, Janey, and the others passed over, all of whom I admire. But Rachel so totally deserved the honor. And SFU lives even in 2013...and on beyond.

I really did hate her character the first 2 seasons but holy crap was Brenda’s character arc ridiculously good. By the end I loved her

First of all, how weird to see Brangelina intact. 😂 Six Feet Under is one of the best tv series I’ve ever seen. Rachel was brilliant as Brenda, such a complex character. I disliked her so much through seasons 1 & 2, then she starts to change and you love her. She really deserved this award.

I have watched SFU for the fourth time now (2023) and it is still as spellbinding as ever. Brenda Chenowith was one of the most complex female characters ever created for television and Rachel played her with guts and gravitas. Season Five must have harrowing for her being pregnant in real life - the writers really piled on the emotional pain and angst for the characters (see Ecotone) as the series came to a close. I love that RG did all she wanted to in the US and then came home here to Melbourne to raise her family . ( ...and thanks for posting this. !!)
