Where do you buy your plexiglass? I am a fluid acrylic artist and am thinking about trying it as a substrate. This is really cool!

I bought it at a local hardware store, but Home Depot and Lowes sell sheets of plexiglass too in all sizes and thicknesses.

Love your work, do you ever use black canvas?
@AshleyKunzArtist
@AshleyKunzArtist Жыл бұрын
Thank you so much! I have worked on black canvas but find that the colors are more muted on a dark surface. When I make darker paintings, I prefer to use a lighter background at first, than I layer my colors and then paint the areas around the design black after the painting is finished. I find this helps to keep the colors vibrant and gives it a moody effect. Hope that makes sense!

Its great today that anybody can do this style of art. I think with this type of art the process of doing this and having fun is more important than the outcome. You dont have to be a Van Gogh or Rossetti all folks can do this which is great

I agree with you, and it's a decision I struggle with every time I film. There's just too many other platforms that have a vertical view, so it's difficult to choose which way to film when the content is used on all of them. I appreciate your feedback!

Nice layers and colors. I think you should have spread the bottom drips so they would be part of the painting. The drip look takes away from the painting. I like drips but sometimes they need to be defused. Fellow artist

Sorry I missed your comment earlier. Did you go through with the surgery or cancel it? I'm so sorry you were scared of it. I feel great today! Sometimes I get an itchy feeling inside my nose that is annoying but my airway is clear and I haven't been sick or had allergy issues nearly as much. I know the thought of empty nose syndrome is scary, but please talk with your doctor about your concerns. There are risks with any surgery and for me, I couldn't continue living without being able to breathe properly. Sending you my best!
