Ich liebe meine beiden Marleaux-Bässe, aber ob die Welt den Soprano braucht weiß ich nicht. Durch die 40er Saiten ist der Klang von MB ja eh etwas weiter oben angesiedelt. Das Spiel von Samy Saemann ist wunderbar, wie immer.

Hey, nothing of all of that,no mics,no piezos, just the dry pickup signal. The Votan is recorded just directly into the mixer and I played all samples in passiv mode, no studio tricks afterwards😊

It's fine craftsmanship only. The octave notes always get lost in the frequencies of other instruments and only if playing this in your room can they be heard. You only need 8 at that. But you best be a good player with great timing and execution to impress.
