I have been asked to start today with walking side to side (12 weeks since fibula spiral fracture). 5/10 pain. This is my first day of full weight. Is this progressing too fast?
@nedeljko84

12 weeks mark is usually ok for this kind of progression if you done gradual progression prior. If you're under supervision of a qualified physiotherapist, kindly consult him/her regarding your progressions.

These exercises are simple. The gradual progression makes so much sense. I was non weight bearing for 6 weeks. This is very helpful. Thank you!

9 weeks is a lot of time, I presume you had some serious injury or surgery. The best thing to do is to find a experienced physiotherapist who will guide you through the process. And to answer your question, it may be normal but I really can't say like this, hope you understand. Best of luck with your recovery.

This was really great! You should do similar video for Golfers elbow. I know it might feel a bit pointless to do videos when you get this little views, but sometimes KZbin works mysterious ways, and some of these old videos might go viral. Let's hope so. Thanks for this one.

Thank you for watching my video. Kindly note that this is not a competition and I hope you got the idea how to perform the test. Can be done with valgus/varus stress, ext/int rotation of the tibial plato with forced flexion and extension. You try to trap the meniscus between tibia and femur in various stress positions of one's end range. Hope this helps

I have a question regarding golfers elbow. Every time I extend my arm out and pronate my wrist to the left palms facing up, I get a really odd feeling of discomfort. It doesn’t hurt, but it’s enough to know something isn’t right, and I was curious about if anyone had this same issue and could give me feedback on whether or not this is a symptom of early onset medial epicondylitis, or that it might be nothing. It has been going on for a few days and it’s been consistent.
@nedeljko84
@nedeljko84 4 жыл бұрын
Do you get tingling sensation in the 4th and 5th fingers when extending the arm? Look for ulnar neurodynamic testing/flossing on KZbin and preform the test/exercise. If no neural symptoms, than just try not to provoke it by testing it non stop, give it few days of peace and see if it's getting better. If you still experience discomfort after few days of protecting your elbow then you may want to see a doctor. Same goes for the neuro symptoms (pins and needles and/or numbness) sensation, best to be examined by a doctor, preferably orthopaedic specialist. Hope this helps.

@@nedeljko84can coracoid impingment happen with the arm at neutral and doing interval rotation or it has to be in flexion?
@nedeljkoradomirovic771
@nedeljkoradomirovic771 5 ай бұрын
Crossing the midline in horizontal adduction and/or internal rotation due to anatomy of the coracoid process if we talk about the coracoid impingement. Sometimes even with a bit of flexion. But these tests are not so specific, they can help with identifying provocative/painful movement pattern but not much about the specific tissue involved @@GoodByeSkyHarborLive

I've made this video 7 years ago and I still use this test in a same way, knee and hip flexion plus varus valgus stress with rotation of the tibia for trapping of meniscus while extending the knee. I find this test very accurate.
