Hi Faith! i hope you are stilll around. it has been a looonnngg time since you posted. You have a gem here and used the most unconventional method i have ever seen! I Have vowed i would never do wet felting, because of all the fuss and room needed to do it. Not to mention hours of felting the mess together. I had to stop, reverse and look again when you floored me by pulling out a vibrating sander! How has no one else picked up on this method? It is genious! Hours turned into minutes and perfectly strong wet felted material. Thank you so much for letting us pick your brain for this super easy way to wet felt. Absolutely LOVE it!

I wish you had showed the "sanding". How longer? how do you move the sander? Is there really sander paper on it? coarse or fine sandpaper? thank you. Otherwise... GREAT video. thank you

Great tutorial. Thanks so much. I’m just not sure I understand what you did with the sander. Did you actually sand away the plastic or was it just to vibrate over top to bind the fibers. Thanks so much

I have been watching so many tutorials on wet felting flowers, all have been so fussy and forever long! I like the ideas but I thought I don't have the time or patience to see it through until I stumbled upon your tutorial! You have made it quick and fun using tools that you probably already have around your house with practically the same results! THANK YOU! <3

Roberta Rees the sander provides the agitation and cuts down the agitation time by a lot! If you are using multiple colors and you want a fine design in a different color then its best to use your hands first to get the fine detail felted then a sander would be a huge help!

I think I'll try this as my first project, although I have wool tops and not batts. I'm assuming I can still do something similar by laying down a couple layers of wisps (or whatever the bits of wool you rip off the tops is called). How long would you recommend making it? I understand some shrinkage will occur.
