Obits way faster to run with a tank pet like the Gorrila in the cave from ungoro crater he has the consecrate ability like paladins and you could just pull multiple mobs mend pet and kill like 4 or 5 mobs at a time instead of all these solo battles

A long long time ago like before every one and there brother was a streamer I played WOW and there was this guy who was on my server the Antonides server (definitely spelt wrong) he did this thing called shadow boxing with a shaman or Druid I would see him on both and he would just straight up destroy everything and everyone you should do that with a Hunter get like 10 accounts run them together and just link them all and run them like a monster you could quite literally run your own raids if you just brought a few healers and maybe a tank unless you ran half Gorrila’s/ bears and some dps pets

If you're reading this... train your weapon skills up. Get into melee fights with green mobs and spam abilities to increase rate of skill gain. Easy mistake coming from retail is equipping a 2H axe for the first time and then almost dying cause you can't deal dmg for 30-50 seconds while you skill from 1-80.

If you plan on going into caves you should also pick up beast and humanoid tracking. Most cave quests are one or the other and it helps, massively, being able to know where nearby enemies are due to the cramped design. They also help find specific mobs in other crowded areas. It's more of a QoL but they are the first two tracking abilities you get and thus are, overall, a good investment. Also track hidden. But more for survivability if you are somewhere you know stealthed enemies to be.

Hunter self-found. Which profession? I think herb/alch as you will need raiding pots later (if you make it) But engineering gets you the thorium bullets then again, leatherworking can really help with items (since self found/craft) and keep everything enchanted with more armor not sure though

Great guide and im no hunter pro for sure never played one until yesterday but i really feel like survival is the way to go just from what im reading, almost everything on there is made for a great escape, which i assume will be needed in hc.

Can I ask a more detailed question about pets please? I played my fair share of hunter in vanilla and I Love cats with 1.2 AS. It makes frenzy strong. Boars as the charge is nice and it increase the first bite by 50%. Also their stamina and armor is good Gorillas have thunderstomp an aoe nature damage to all enemies within 8 yards on a 1 minute cooldown. The difference Boars and Gorillas have is they use a 2.0 Attack Speed compared to the 1.2 AS on certain cats. Do you feel the 1.2 AS cat is always the better pick even for Hardcore? and why? If you can’t make it to 60 as a hunter with vanilla wow experience , you should stick to everquest.

you shouldn't do auto shot before serpent sting, it just wastes a shot and doesn't start the dot right away, I also prefer the trap that freezes and enemy in place, I use it in case a 2nd mob gets pulled they run into the trap and cant move until first mob is dead. Its safer for hardcore. Also intellect is better than stamina since you shouldn't be using your hps, but you do use a lot of mana. Spirit does not seem to make enough of a difference to prioritize. the regen rate from increased spirit is so minimal.

Screech is great. Aoe threat puller and attack power debuff that goes off like every two seconds. Very good at just a single target. Crits wont even pull the mob off of the bird.

You went for high animal survival but poor self survival in your build. Should have at least bought up your dodge under the Beast tree.

Elitepvpjerks has all of those updated lvling guides for free. Imo all of them always get unsynced from the lvl eventually.

Super underrated guide. First time wow player here (both retail and classic) and was overwhelmed learning the game, let alone my class. This covered so many things other hunter guides didn't, from progression of what professions to level first and how to transition to what ideal "endgame professions", and key things not to miss, etc, while still being a concise. Super helpful! Thanks! Hope you make a phase 3 guide later on once you get to experience it yourself, cause I'll definitely watch it.

Do you maybe know how popular wow ytbers make those cool thubmnails with wow characters which are like i movies screen shoted for example Bellular or MarcelianOnline, I know for model softweare but it is pain and time consuming makeing a simple character :D

Not played it yet, looks fun. Although I have a concern, does it feel as ‘button mashing’ as it looks? Personally would love a WoW BR with arena type fights where good use of cool-downs is the key factor in winning.

Owl with screech is the only AoE threat generator and can save your ass when you're running. Take skinning and mining. Store all your stones and forged metal. Sell all the skins up to medium leather. Once you have enough medium leather (I think it's 20 or 40) to level engineering then switch from skinning to engineering. Stay out of caves and other high density areas until the mobs are green to you. Don't take on Elite mobs or elite quests until they're green to you. And even then, have an escape route. Stay out of instances. Yeah, sure, you could get that bow to drop in BFD. Or, you could end up with a tank or healer who DCs during a fight and lose your toon.

These runes does that mean I have to make my own armor then find these runes or buy the rune or create the rune to then put into armor to be able to use???

Any advice if I was thinking of playing survival hunter OR an arms warrior with a pvp focus? Seems like survival hunter might have better CCs and is less durable? Like a rogue without stealth? Lol I currently have a 70 arms warrior and a 70 Marksman hunter I was debating swapping to survival. I've found I enjoy melee more than ranged and have been having fun with arms but apart of me misses the hunter lol

Hi @Western_TV. Very accurate and nice guide. I do have a question though against rogue. If they decide to sap your pet first, then Cheap on you, it means you won't be able to use Roar of Sacrifice and there is no way for your crab to get out from that sap. Am I right?

This information may help someone... if you need leather but don't have skinning. Fishing from pools along the coast they can drop junk boxes with leather... thats how i got my engi helm.

mm i mean if it was a dwarf warrior he can stone form youre scorpid chimera shot and then u are in some big trouble. anti venoms also dont work against posions higher than level 35. think a smart warrior would learn too anti venom the sting.
