You almost need to conformal coat that beast, twice, and then again with a hot glue gun xD

Out of interest... because X class has so much space on the arms, why not run much larger props? Lots of builds are running 13" but the top down profile of the build has a relatively small amount of area dedicated to thrust - compared to the average 5-7 inch profile where props are almost touching. There seems to be a lot of thrust to weight to gain.. but does the prop/motor/power hardware even exist to do that?

Still have a site but only sells ar pyrodrone. they also haven’t had any product in stock since this company decided to shut its doors of communications with paying customers. leaving them high and dry. I have a few frames with nowhere to go for support. avoid CMW.

Those old rcinpowers have the same horizontal cooling lines on the bell as my new Foxeer black hornets... i think rcinpower makes them. anyway, I'm buying one from some guy with only like 10hp... 9" - he says I can rip it around the neighborhood. This will be my first RC anything. fingers crossed!

Thanks buddy. Just received mine here in NL from the USA after a crapload of import duty and shipment fee but just had to get my hands on this unique design so worth it. Waiting on some electronic from china but the frame is already build (with reprinted red tpu as its meant to be ;-).

The 4” on this is absolutely insane, I’ve thoroughly enjoyed flying it. In the process of converting it to a long range machine with an o3 air unit. So many options to configure this build.

What VTX system you use? analog or digital ! Flying so smooth

How much is it

have you experienced corrosion from the aluminum screws where it meets the carbon? I imagine so long as it stays dry you should be okay for a while but long term (10+ years) you would likely see corrosion build up over time. Just currious.

7075 to hold motors and save weight good. Steel screws to hold the stack ? these offer an opportunity to save much more weight than the 8mm long ones.

Chris Rosser would say that the moment of inertia is not quite high enough due to the compressibility of the air flux. But in plain English, If you just had a heavier quad, it might fly faster

I had an esc that a blew MOSFET and shorted out. It started burning itself up even pcb itself was glowing. Every component on the board and the wires desoldered themselves. Esc was nothing but a burnt peice of fiberglass.
