I have r7 7800x3d and rtx3080ti and on same settings I’m getting 100-115 fps in full lobby, something ain’t right here

Hi friend, I have an RTX 4070 Ti and a Ryzen 5 7600, my FPS on BF2042 at LOW and 1080p is always 220-250fps. Am I having a problem? I expected something above a stable 280fps playing with this configuration. Could you give me some light?

Hi, do you experience any coil whine from that Aorus motherboard? I just bought b650e-e strix from asus, i dont like the software, and for some reason my 7800x3d is running somehow hot in 42-53*C on idle (when i have browser on) Im thinking about switching motherboards but i have dilema which way to go

Hello, I don't have the motherboard anymore but there was a tiny bit but not very noticeable. The 7800x3d just runs hot normally but you don't really have to worry about that, you just have to adjust your fan curves around it

Because they did not whitelist the newest version of RTSS, you have to use version 7.3.5 for it to work with BF2042 and other EA games

Look at that power usage, like running a gaming laptop. Not bad at all, but your 4070 ti isn't far ahead in terms of power. I think it gets much better performance per watt

If your FPS target is 240fps at med/high settings in fortnite, the 4070 ti/super may be a better choice

Im getting about 135-145 fps rocking the 7800x3d 4070 ti and t-create ddr5 64gb 6000mhz cl34. My cpu i havent touched yet, I need to overclock or undervolt it or whatever it is. Then for my gpu i just increased my power limit on msi afterburn so didnt really do much to that either.

Aaaa couldnt even run over 240fps even at 1080p. Atleast 8700x3d rtx 5090 later i guess. Whether those engine brands are suck or those games are just too op. Lol.

The real test is at the top of Sumeru city, in front of Nahida's place entrance where there are big branches. Just climb them high enough to make the leaves "transparent" and watch in direction of Vanarana. I'd be curious to see what FPS you have there. 😌 Also some Fontaine places, when you climb on the lil mountains.

I can see you are getting fps drops to 40-60-100, what's causing this? I seem to be having the same issue.

It's just how Performance mode works I suppose; you get higher fps in exchange for inconsistent lows. DX12 has been consistent for me to say the least

@@SamuraiJr It has always been like this, performance mode worked great in OG season because it's a non- cpu intensive map, now with a cpu intensive map performance mode falls flat on its face. DX12 is not that great either but still a noticeable improvement, expect averages and 1% lows to be double in DX12.
