great explanation ! I´ve also been using those leaders for many years. try a figure 8 knot, it´s not as bulky as the surgeons knot. I use small bait rings instead of a swivel.

Hey thanks for giving me a reason to get out and try it! Really makes me doubt some of the guys out there on KZbin claiming consistent headshots on squirrels at 40 yards! I can barely see a can clearly at ~27, let alone a 25mm squirrel head at 40.
