The leadership of the Church and the political leaders are one and the same. They pretend or sell a never ending tomorrow or heaven/hell, while they pillage the sheep and people both in spirit and physically
@TableTalkWithProf2 күн бұрын
Your sentiment isn’t misplaced, this is why the church must return to the true vision of the Gospels as seen in the early church - which is to serve rather than seek to be served.

No African nation should ever talk of any international body of being clamped down or responsible for their poverty again. That’s now story for the international bodies are now ghost of themselves. Even the newest of them the BRICS is a snare. Bilateral is the in thing. So much to be rebuilt. No infrastructure again. The whole system of governance is corrupt and derelict. New Hope New Strategy is required. Above all New Spirit in the fear of God and love of the motherland with new mindset for new thinking. Lord be merciful and help Nigeria.

It is common today for many people to presume that prophecy must have a predictive element of either doom or blessing to it. However when we look at the ministry of the people in Bible we traditionally call prophets (Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, Amos, Hosea, John the Baptist and Jesus himself), they addressed the social. economic, political and racial ills of their time. This for them was the reason for the primary reason for the breakdown of society and not necessarily some principality somewhere in the heavens. True prophetic ministry calls attention to socio economic deprivation and demands a redress of such status quo to avert the disintegration of society- what they called judgement, which implies society reaping the fruits of the seeds we have sown. Scripture interprets Scripture, the dictionary does not.

Very Good! The problem of Nigeria is the problem of the religious community of Nigeria, North to South East to West is poverty Mentality in their prosperity and their selfish unpatriotic behaviors. Righteousness is not part of their creed, even when they talk about religion their eyes and hands shake for money and their heart so prideful. They sermonize vain rhetorics avoiding the essential nurturing of the minds in the truth of God they profess. Properties and possessions are more important to them than standing for Christ and the people in an oppressive and dirty society. They are survivalist in search of significance. The day Nigerians make prayer for Nigeria an important cause in every closet and gathering more than the quest for personal aggrandizement and unconcerned attitude towards collective good sanity will return and God would be attracted to help. People go out of the country not for greener pastures but for crumbs for it is never eldorado with anybody outside his ground of dominance. It’s always struggles, insults mockery, dangers and risky mighty endurance for the emigrating populace. No Nigerian has business struggling to survive if not for the leadership and culture of I and NO other placating with overdose of suffering and smiling. Patriotism and collective good must be restored and even a major liturgical direction towards righteousness in the religious community. God is so interested in nations. We are not redeemed only on the level of individual salvation alone. Christ redeems on national level to inherit the nations. Pray for Jerusalem and all that love her shall prosper is a principle of prosperity for any nation. No nation prospers beyond the beliefs of its citizens and nationals. No nation is destroyed or conquered until the citizens are defeated destroyed and conquered. Excuses must stop. When they cease to care for their nation. Individualism takes over and the center become weak to pool together strength. A rich man in a poor country is a despicable poor person and when he’s from a corrupt country his riches are disdainful and unbelievably corrupt. No rich man in Nigeria can boldly beat his or her chest of his riches no amount of his righteous work will be able to save him from condemnation of flaunting riches in the midst of abject poverty. God is counting on the religious community for the repair and reconstruction of the dignity of his people in his identity. The religious community is first and foremost the conscience and the change agent in any society. I pray for redirection in all quarters especially the religious community for God is counting on them for truth that set free. The truth of righteousness that makes righteous and enriches to shine for the glory of God and community of nations. 4:26

This is not prophecy!!! This is simple logic!
@TableTalkWithProf9 күн бұрын
I suppose if it was that simple we would not be where we are as a nation. Again that it is simple gives us hope because it should mean we can all do what it takes to make our nation better ❤️
@henrymanshop80299 күн бұрын
@TableTalkWithProf I'd rather you argue a simplicity/complexity paradigm...but prophecy it is not! The caption is misleading...my only concern.

It's not a prophecy. Please take note for apt titles next time. However, I will like to know the man's name. He has spoken the blunt truth and this is what I have been saying to people especially about IMF.

Pardon my ignorance what is “ prophecy“ in what this man is saying . Is it because he is Oyinbo man talking . Let’s check the definition of prophecy in the dictionary. What he is saying is NOT prophecy in any way shape or form! QED

Ironically it’s the Christians in power that are most corrupt

True Christian living is a call to follow the example of Jesus in pouring out our lives for others
@emmanuelthebeloved9 күн бұрын
@@topet124 why do I need to prove what’s blatantly obvious for all to see? It’s apparent in the western countries how much more Nigeria. If you are Nigerian then asking that question is just deceiving yourself otherwise all your politicians in the senate, house of reps to Cabinet at both federal, state and local level, are they not Christians? What difference have they made? Even the tongue talking ones ends up in corruption because they see public offices as God’s way of blessing them and their next generations.
@topet1249 күн бұрын
@@emmanuelthebeloved just because you claim to be Christian doesn’t mean you are Christian, a lot of people see it as a mere title than a way of life. A true Christian would not embezzle money

@ absolutely 💯 but we certainly can’t change their what they believe about themselves in their mind. It’s all comes down to the renewal of the mind through the word.
