So help me to understand this. How is it that God wished to bring about the rapture but Jesus went to die for the sins of man and man was spared. Why would god send himself down to stop himself?

Jesus was a man, tempted, accused, and mortal just like the rest of us. Yet he managed not to sin and be upright. He was indeed the Son of God but also the Son of Man. Jesus’s humanity is further proven when he was about to be arrested and knew what was coming he pleaded with his Father in heaven to take the cup away from him IF POSSIBLE. For a man to not sin or transgress against brother(Man) nor Father(God) and accept the most cruel, painful, humiliating, and downright brutal death is truly not a trait of man. Yet he did it, he did it for us. At any point Jesus could have sinned or fallen to temptation of the flesh. Jesus was a testament to God, Satan, and all of creation that Man could live up to the purpose they were given by The Lord. I wish I could love and praise Jesus with my whole mind, body, and soul but I’m literally incapable of it for my flesh is weak. However, I still give 100 percent of my willpower to serving the Lord. Lord Christ is not only mine but everyone’s Lord and Savior, but only if you let him in and accept him truthfully. There’s one thing I hope no one has to hear but most will anyway. “Depart from me, for I never knew you.”- Lord Christ

I like to say it as Jesus is God, but for God to be able to walk on earth and speak with us to teach us, he can’t be in his true form so he had to create a human body his son Jesus to walk on earth with us when Moses was told by God, he couldn’t look at him and live. This is the prime example of why Jesus was needed!! yes he is the son of God, but he’s also the embodiment and spirit of God!!! ❤ AMEN

If we are defending the faith then I would actually argue that trinitarianism could be considered just as "heretical" as it is a completely eisegetical and philosophical doctrine of men. Christ and His disciples did not believe or teach this, and based on his letters the Apostle Paul didn't either. Ironically from my experience, whenever you point out the logical and contextual inconsistencies in the trinitarian argument, trinitarians immediately start sounding oneness/modalist in their language. God is not the author of confusion, and trinitarianism is the epitome of confusion when you simply look af the context of Scripture and define your terms. As a Non-denominational Christian Pastor who has spoken to countless JW's, Mormans, Atheists, Muslims, etc.. I totally understand why they reject the trinity. There is one God, the Father. There is one Lord, His Son. The word "God" (elohim/theos) has an established biblical definition and context, and it is not the eisegetical one trinitarians re-define to support their doctrine today. Christ can be called God based the context and definition of the word (Ruler/Judge/Mighty one), He is not the Almighty and He has never been co-equal in authority to His God and Father, and as an eternal High Priest who will eternally be serving His God, He never will be. The Priesthood of Christ alone completely dismantles man-made doctrines like trinitarianism, hypostatic union concept, dispensationalism, antinomianism, penal substitutionary atonement, and many other eisegetical and philosophical doctrines like the trinity. Study the Priesthoods. Use context. Always define your terms. I promise you it will open your understanding and help you evangelize properly based on what the Bible actually teaches. Shalom

Jesus is the embodiment of God as he said to Moses you cannot look upon me and live because God is all powerful. Moses wasn’t able to look up on him so how do you expect God to walk on earth with us to provide his teachings!? I can see you like to use a lot of Large words to try and make yourself seem the most knowledgeable, but it’s a very simple concept. Yes, Jesus is his son, but he’s also the embodiment of God so he is one and the same! God bless

Had an insane dream about the rapture a few nights ago. I was walking and i looked up into the sky at night and saw that the moon was.. purple. And then i realized there was another moon, smaller, and it was pink. And then way off to the left was 2 more moons, both red, one behind the other. As soon as i saw the red moons i knew what was happening. I panicked. As soon as i did that, this massive ring of fire appeared on the horizon and this odd music started to play. And above that an angle started to appear in the sky. These fiery stars started appearing seemingly at random first, but once they were all there they had created a huge circle in the sky. And the circle was cut into 4 pieces with a giant cross. And each of the 4 pieces had a star in the middle of it. I got on my knees and put my head into my arms, i was terrified because i knew what was happening. My last thought before waking up was “why am i scared?” I have no clue what any of that means
