Jim predicted Trent Reznor or Moby. If you go back & listen to interviews with Jim, he had amazing foresight for what was to come.

Morrison didn't predict anything... the studio industry was moving that way... obvious if u were recording at that time...u would easily see that unless you made yourself a slave

Todays youth and Hip Hop coulture, seems like a competition, to see who can be the most outrageous and fake, while making up ridiculous, nonsensical words, so their lyrics rhythm, but are shallow, with curse words piled on top. We went from peace and love to bitches and guns mothafucka! Humanity lost forever, we lose.

Morrison was never enrolled in any Masters program at UCLA or anywhere else- Ray Manzarek was tho’

Ray, Robby and John were doing a promotional tour for the release of "Live At The Hollywood Bowl" in 1987; I didn't know about that until just recently, and they made a stop at the Pere Lachaise cemetery. A Japanese TV appearance from that tour: kzbin.info/www/bejne/l5O4dYqtotVmaNU

one of my favorite bands...great thinkers... the combination of what Jim Morrison is talking about is found in one artist country blues blues gospel, Jazz miles Davis and the great BBKing (The king of Rock and Roll Elvis Presley) from the mississippi Delta of Robert Johnson to West Virginia folk music John Denver...all had an input one way or the other in the contribution for greatness.

I wonder if they remained what direction they would of taken? There were scenes and fads that could of affected them however I feel jazzy fusion r/b with Jim reciting not signing might be a path...who were their peers? Zappa and Lou Reed? They could write hits but that may have changed.

If in the USA people went to their concerts for the religious experience, they did well. No politics at all, as they did in Europe!
