Just another voice. 66yr old male. Sat at comluter monitor for sork & play for decades. Let Blood Sugar get out of control. Sight deteriorated over a few weeks. Diabetes. Now taking insulin. Big build up of fluid back or retina. Thankfully, blood vessels did not burst (or would be permanent damage), Two pair of needle injections to date, with more coming over next few months. Initial results positive. Injections nothing to worry about. Eye is frozen befure needle. 1st was unnoticeable. 2nd pair I could tell, but easily coped with. Just sounds scary. Sound like any reading this? Get help quick. Next up for me is Cataraxt surgery ... then lens replacement. Good chance I'll see well again in a year (prob with reading glasses). You get dropped off just one block from the touristy part of town How on earth did you overlook the Peabody Essex museum? It’s the best attraction in town

Hello Angel. How much time would you suggest allowing to calmly visit the Mission (with audio tour)? I’m from the north part of LA and familiar with the horrific traffic in so Cal, and lived in Irvine some years ago. I’m now in Sylmar where the 5/210 meet, and planning day trip to the Mission. Will factor in lunch, but wondering if 2-3 hours is enough. Probably going to head back north by 4 and plan a dinner at Knotts Chicken in Buena Park, then home. A grueling day of driving. 😵‍💫 Thanks!
