Love the perfect jazz rendition, however the sound quality need to be improving, the piano and bass volume are somewhat missing ...

Hey Matt, when do you do more classic jazz again like in your KZbin beginnings? Don’t get me wrong, smooth jazz just kinda is cliche

I like it. This has been a song that I arranged years ago; but haven’t came up with variations to keep it fresh; so this book will do me good. I’m going to buy this book. I’d like to learn how to comp better and add soloing aspects to songs like these also. I have played the arrangement I wrote years ago; but I’ve never have been able to solo between the chords to make more than just the melody. It’s a pretty long song; so I’d like to play the whole thing through once and then the next time through I’d like to make it flashy for a couple of times through and then close it out with the whole melody through again. I can just play the chords and melody once. I don’t know if you have anything for any of that. I’m trying to get a Joe Pass thing going; but not at that level just something musical and improvised; because I’m the melody itself isn’t that impressive if you can’t work off of it and create variations. Thanks. Do you have a place you’d rather have me buy the book from? Take care.
