when i started the game this song immediately stuck out to me. the atmosphere in sumaru felt safe and welcoming. now i’m about halfway through IS and seeing all these buildings blow up makes this theme sound a lot sadder…

Just played through this dungeon today. It seems like many hate it, and yes, the dungeon itself was tedious, but... I just love it story-wise. This song creeps in along with that sinking feeling as you realize rumors come true... and the rumor is that no one knows where the exit of the bomb shelter is. And I also just love talking to the characters. I revisit shops and rooms just to hear the new dialogue, and it broke up the tedium for me a lot in this dungeon. If I had one complaint... is that there's a damn puddle in one of the rooms, and it reflects the wall and nearby pillar! I even thought there was one of those exit arrows reflected in it... but nope. How cool wouldn't it have been if that's how you found the exit? Edit: Having finished the game now I can say that nothing really tops this dungeon thematically.

Man, it was so heartwarming and heartbreaking watching Eikichi’s friends worried the entire game about him. I love this game so much.

I'll always be amazed about these rare gems hidden somewhere in the OST of a game. The song is stupidly good. Tho to be fair, the original game itself was also one of a kind in many ways. I have some very good memories of it.

Someone needs to mod this over Aria of the Soul in all of the modern Persona games on Steam. Nothing can beat Debussy!
