You might need to put a progressive nitrous shot on it or put a standalone ecu so you can pull timing when you spray

So I got a weird question for you.. I have an 07.. and apparently the tiburons. Have a notorious bcm issue.. the three relays blow out on the bcm.. and the bcm gets riddled with issues.. So I sent one, from a 2003 to module experts in Texas. Was not impressed.. I don't even think they looked at it or opened it up. So I'm just wondering.. have you ever encountered the bcm issue? Or havrle you ever had one repaired by a legit module repair Co? Just trying to get on fixed on an 07.. but a little leary of sending away. A 1400.00 bcm, to possibly get it back worse off.. anything.. Had three tibs so far.. and all three have done the same thing.. so thought I'd start asking around. To some tiburon fans..

Running 196 with just a high flow exhaust kn filter with a custom box and bigger carb. Make sure you run an oem map these cars need oem sensors. And stop running 87 on these cars they call for 89 or higher.

Am i seeing that right? you turned this 2.7 around 7 grand?? Nice! Son has one we are working on mtor is stock right now except headers that before or during install i should say Kevin at KSR did not like how they merged and built collectors etc fo rthem and they have been on about 3 yrs and have never needed tightening up yet! also a intake from brandon dubose. fits excellent. Looing forwar d to this channel and leting my son know about it!

No it will read bad if you do that must add universal sensor to the exhaust and run the wire

Debes conectarlo de la misma manera cada cable es para una función debes tener el diagrama de tu computadora para saber cada cable del diagrama de la VAFC

Hey so you didn't have to retard the time on the 100 shot wet NOS? Its amazing you didn't detonate the motor by then. If you go bigger than a 50 shot the general rule for especially a 100 shot is that you upgrade the fuel pump and retard the timing like 2 degrees BTDC.

Thats cool because I plan on doing a 100 shot nitrous kit on my 03 Tiburon GT and I always wander if you have you had to adjust the timing on the tiburon 2.7L engine which is non adjustable anyway. What nitrous kit did you use on this video when it was made? What other bolt on mods was used like exhuast, headers, intake, etc.?@@SelfMadeDIY

@@1998gst4611 it's a wet nitrous sistem, that means it's has its own fuel solenoid you don't have to retard timing it's capable to handle 100shot with no problem just keep it safe...

I'm new to this whole car mod scene. What all would you recommend upgrading to make sure this is "stable." I would assume a fuel pump (if you can find one) and injectors to prevent leaning the engine. Or would that not matter as much since it's a wet shot (i don't even know what a dry shot is, if that's even a thing lol)

ItIf you make improvements to the fuel system, you will have better fuel flow to be able to increase the nitrous more, as it is a wet kit, you would not have problems with the fuel mixture, you would only have to lean it out a little, nothing more.

A dry nitrous kit you are just shooting pure nitrous into the engine. A wet nitrous kit injects a mixture of nitrous and gas into the engine to get a stable flow of mixture which is safer and prevents of your motor from detonation. You will need all the other supporting mods like a high pressure fuel pump, exhaust system, cold air intake to get the full benefits of running nitrous on the car.

in this particular setting the apexi literally does nothing the factory ECU can handle the mixture just fine being a wet kit...

Long runners make more power at lower engine speeds, while short runners enhance power production higher in the rev range... hope this helps your question....
