Personally I thought the crank knop was useless doesn't do nothing so I replaced it with a working fan and a couple of led lights on the side 👍🏻👍🏻

Come on now, don't hate on my layer lines, I worked hard to have the layer lines visible....LOL j/k. That was one of the first Ion arms I printed, so my settings were not quite right yet, but I assure you now they are much better, nothing a little sanding won't take care of! I Just ordered the upgrade and will be doing it on mine but I had a chance to message the seller and maker he’s quite the gentleman and will answer any question about the mod and if you wanna tweak it. But he made a Spengler and 84 wand v hook mount for the life size too which I will also be mounting on mine all before frozen empire I ended up buying all the outer cosmetic modifications from his shop

Hey there, I would not use ahesive to hold the hook on the wand, I would recommend using the screws that are included with the kit :)

Not bad. I might consider doing this with my pack when it arrives. I think I have a resin crank knob kicking around or I may buy the upgrade kit.

I wonder if anyone will produce a crank knob that would simply fit over the shape on the pack. So it'd be like a puzzle piece and just pop into place. That way no one has to cut into the pack itself that they spent over $200 on. Make a mistake (which I def would) and then that's it. I can't justify that risk.

This is great but I'd love to see how to open the pack up and mod the wiring so that you can have the lights on on just the pack without the wand light and sound, but still have the option to put it back into full light and sound mode.

You can't. The wiring inside these is laughably basic and simple. Most of us will gut all the electronics in the pack and replace them with a Frankengeek or Spongeface light and sound kit. I have a video on my channel with all the mods I did to my pack, including a parts list
