Demon slayer is mid though like the animation is def one of the best of this generation but story wise its simple as hell. Anyone can write it. Its not bad but its not great either its just okay I would never read the manga cuz as I said the story its self is bare minimum okay nothing crazy and art is mid as well This goes of JJK as well though JJK does have better aspects but even then both DS and JJK feel like reskins of other anime nothing really special the only respect I give the anime are the animators in the end they make these 2 anime shine, story wise they are simple and jjk somethings are complicated but still doesn't feel natural

The season was good lol you can't just have cool fights 24/7 or it would just get repetitive you actually need character development or the final arc won't feel as good SPOILER: Like a bunch of demon slayers die that if this season didn't happen we wouldn't have any sort of emotional attachment to and we just would call it even more mid than people think this season is.

i don't know man i love demon slayers, but in the meantime i tried to focus more on the plot and it doesn't make any sense. Yes i agree that IT IS VISUALLY STUNNING and thats the sad thing, i think its driving us away to process the whole point of the story, there are some tiny unoticable plot holes . Now dont get me wrong i love demon slayer but in my personal opinion i think the one who should carry a story is a balance between plot and fights etc, end not only the visually striking effects of the story. this i all opinion btw pls no hate, in the end it all comes down to preferences😅😊

Honestly wished it was bit slower as an anime watcher, I didn’t read the manga so I’m not sure how it follows it. Training arcs have always been my favorite and I wish it went into a bit more detail with the rest of the training similar to whenever he got into the final training phase, which seemed to be more detailed than the rest of it. I think the way it was presented could’ve been made into a movie with the infinity castle being a whole season rather than a trilogy. But what do I know I only watch anime and have never developed any type of story

The demons training would have been them just eating more humans.😂 and the only two who can do logistics reliably is Muzan and Kokushibo.😂

Just cuz the main character is op doesn't mean he's a great character. Your review lacks a lot of core subjects about what makes a good character. I get the point that many characters are given a time to train to become powerful, because this was and is the formula of writing any charcter that the reader would understand, get along and relate to that character, which makes him likeable. Thousands of shows already exist that use this formula, tho this might be boring for you, there are other type of storywritings where the protagonist becomes op in the very beginning. isekai are the examples for this type of writing. But, this show however, doesn't give you a character introduction or why he is so powerful. No backstory, no relatability, which reminds me of "Bollywood Cinema". Yes, the same movies which are made fun of because the actors are litterally superheroes in every movie, they dont have training, they just are too powerful. This type of writing was popularized in order to provide constant entertainment for the fanbases. Now, coming to a show of teenage delinquents, a shonen anime, whose major audience are of the same age group, hype and power are a big thing for them. All the shonen anime execute them well. So, what's the problem here? Well, the presentation and consisitency, which is very important for intro and the long run of the show, The presentation feels very corny in this anime, even though the protagonist is fine, the way he beats all other npcs was emotionless and meaningless. While writing a fight, we need a protagonist and an antogonist to equate the battleground, but with a lack of antagonist, writers add masses of useless npc enemies who won't even appear again in the show. Consistency is lacking a lot in the show, where the main character behaves very different from different scenarios as if he were a complete different person. His power was also very inconsistent throughout the story, you can't just add new op side characters to add struggle to the main. I can see why this anime is getting popular, cuz all the cringe teen are overhyping it, but the story looks bland and the point where its leading is very blur.
