Isn't the mobile Internet expensive in the Philippines. I love the Philippines, but everything is so corrupt. Walking up to a girl you find attractive is the best way but requires you to be brave. The dating sites are good to avoid face to face rejection before you even get started.

I've been in a LDR for a year and a half, I'm going to Cebu in 4 weeks we have been in communication every day morning and night. We have very extensive conversations and we are really close i wouldn't trade my time for anyone! You have to becareful but not every lady is the same!

@@AsianRomance I am pretty good at doing this now, but it took a long time as I am in my 50s and have lived in SEA for decades. The way I did it is by following step 1 and introspection. It's easy to find fault with others and paint oneself a victim, so I try to reflect on what I may have done wrong and what might have been my biased assumptions. Some would say I am jaded and joykill, but I see myself as being a hardcore realist. For example, I am not going to believe and get hurt by a woman 15+ years my minor as the probabilities of that being true love is highly unlikely - to me this is just common sense. As for helping the chicas with financial support, I don't give away or loan out what I cannot afford to lose. I think it's pretty much impossible to live life and not suffer from some disappointments, but one can limit that hurt/pain significantly by thinking critically about the relationship and not letting one's ego get in the way of the reality for which it is based.

I think people should mind their own damn business and quit trying to project their unhappiness onto others. If a man has a problem with it, he is jealous that he didn't get a young, hot woman, or he is miserable he settled for a worn out, bossy, ungrateful and entitled western woman after she was ran through in her teens and 20s. If it's a woman and she's unhappy with it (and lets be honest, it's usually women who have the issue) it's because she's jealous someone else has a man when she doesn't, more specifically, that a young, hot, fit, feminine and friendly woman who treats the man right has that man, because she knows she wasted her younger, attractive years "having fun" and now has little to no value in a romantic relationship.... no longer very attractive and bo longer able to pair bond.

I'm 58 this year ...its so weird to say that number 😢 but in my brain 🧠 I feel as I did at 25 😊 I know I would relate well to a younger Filipina based upon my long distance interactions with them..they love to laugh and enjoy life and so do I 😂 I know In my mind it's not to take advantage of her in any way I just prefer the younger mindset of a younger female 😊 I never dated as a teenager and I long for that carefree dating experience

I have known 3 men marry Filipina women over the years. Each marriage ruined their lives, I'm not even joking. The culture of seeing foreign men as ATMs / green cards / retirement plans is so ingrained in the local dating culture that you'd be incredibly lucky to find a local woman not compromised. If you are currently dating a Filipina I'd ramp up your skepticism levels 100%. If you aren't dating one and thinking about it, move on to a better national pool of women such as Taiwan or Japan.

As you get older and esp., if you're a senior citizen it should be expected that it will be harder to date the fine hotties. That's just basic logic, unless you're one of those people that like to lie to themselves. The one saving grace and esp., in the Philippines is that if you got the bling bling to show off and the money to go with it then you can most likely get what you want. With the grinding poverty there it doesn't take much, so you can be a semi-loser back at home, but look like a winner there. Just don't expect love or sincerity. Sorry to throw cold water, but someone has to keep it real.

Funny, Reekay was scammed by girls he met boots on the ground. He talked about a girl he met in coffee shop ask him money for sick relative only to learn it was a scam. Then he got scammed again by another girl he knew well, he bought her motorbike but she took his money then never gave him her bike. Scammers are everywhere online or on the ground.

The fact there is fewer foreigners is irrelevant. The new generation of girls is different from the older generation. I've been traveling to the Philippines long before Reekay who does not have long term experience there. I've been going there for over 40 years, brought multiple girls to the US, I'd think I'd know quite a bit more then Reekay on the long term differences in the Philippines. Big difference in the dating scene today. Yea I will agree you can still date great girls much better then the US but not close to the same as it was because the new generation is different.

Now he pays her and her family, married to save money on visa, but he ended paying for supporting the whole family. I think Manila is great but its very hard to find a spacious living space for less than 1,000 a month. I'm talking 1 ` bedroom 90 sq meter or 2 bedroom 130 sq meters..

It's not 180 days per entry, its 180 days TOTAL stay to be used within a 5-year period. So you got 5 years to use up 180 days of total stay. But you can extend another 180 days only ONCE. So in a 5-year period, you can stay a maximum of 1 YEAR during that time.
