Great demo, the Heritage semi really had some depth to it. Just got one, it's so flexible. My Cutlass has fattened up so much and my Stingray has another two gears for layering in our band's songs !! I'm using it on about 6 as more of a boost before a Rockaway EQ/Boost on barely any gain, then into either a J Rockett Broverdrive (meaty) or a Greer Southland (low gain) depending on the song and then into a J Rockett Dude (medium gain) for solos
@joeriffanucci28 күн бұрын
Thanks watching and your comment. Some great pedal choices up front. I still need to try the Southland. I have a Lightspeed I like a lot from them. I’m continually amazed how such tweaks in eq and gain structures can turn a sound into usable or not.
@craigchapman661328 күн бұрын
@@joeriffanucci Indeed, the Rockaway enables control of both, in one pedal. I was looking for a Lightspeed, which retain the price and sell so quickly, when the Southland came up, and £50 lower price. It's sounds the same as the Lightspeed, but with more gain if you want it, and is probably more useful than the Lightspeed overall. The Special Request certainly fattens everything in sight

I have the Westbury w20 copy (Nady td1) but I don't have the Holmes head , and the Nady alone is not so good. Any recommendations ?

Thanks for checking out my stuff 😊 love Shawn. As far as a pedal that does the sound, that’s a tough one. He had a very special way of dialing in delays in whatever specific room he was in and used a variety of gains. My best advice would be to try two or three medium gains in tandem stacked. This latest John video shows this. Let me know what you think. I have several recommendations but they all play different depending on guitar and amp. kzbin.info/www/bejne/bYvGnpKDqatgg9Efeature=shared
