I started building and woking on houses in san jose in 1964 I am a historian of the city.... My father was a cop starting in 1933 and my mother ran the muncipal employees credit union my uncle was the fire chief My aunt went to san jose st called then san jose normal school graduating in 1922 she later went to stanford Houses in the 1950 tiess and 1960 sold for 14 to 20 thousand I built houses all over the bay area One of my other friends father was Bob Titchenal who was the first captain of the first 49er game played in 1946

Many of the houses in Sj originally sold in the 1930 and 1940 for 10 000.. I was a carpenter and started working on houses in 1964 and worked all over the bay area I was born in S J in 1942 Housing prices started rising in 1976 I bought a house on newhall st about 1200 ' for 14 000 today it is worth about 1.6 mill. A friend sold a dump house in campbell about 1600 ' for 1.9 mil
