I don't think the romantic type of love is special and I think that the romantic type of love isn't real. More than half of romantic couples either break up with each other or divorce each other, while most best friends remain friends until death. To most people, their best friend is more important to them than their romantic partner is. I think that having a best friend is a lot better than having a romantic partner. Most people don't consider their romantic partner to be their friend. Romantic relationships are pointless, while friendship is not. Having a best friend is important than having a romantic partner is. Romance ruins everything. There's a reason why most people won't date their best friend. Most of the time, being with your best friend ends wrong because you break up and it is never the same again.

Robbed!! 💔 Brandon and Andrea definitely had chemistry. Because you could see it when Jason and Gabrielle did scenes together. (And you could obviously see that they were friends off screen as well.) The writers could've done what they did with Monica and Chandler from "Friends". A slow burn relationship that developed over time by originating as a beautiful friendship that one day was meant to become more. Flip side though, a part of me is glad they never went that route. Because it's refreshing when a guy and a girl in tv shows become (just) really close friends like Brandon and Andrea did. Close enough they almost think of each other as family; where they'd always be there for and support each other. Brandon's relationship with Andrea is my personal favorite from the show. And even though they remained platonic, I will always ship them. ❤️

Like an example is that abuse happens a lot in romantic relationships. Studies prove single, childless, women are the HAPPIEST demographic. Women are the happiest when single and focused on themselves.

This is my first time seeing this video. I read everything you wrote in the description section and I could not agree more. You said practically everything I felt. I was also on Twitter making sure the writers/powers-that-be were listening because I was furious how they just gave up on writing for Jonah and Amy as a couple as soon as they got together. They could have had so many cute moments in the store, stolen kisses while on the job, cute handholding in the breakroom, some cute at-home scenes (they had one with Jonah and Kelly, for crying out loud). It didn't need to happen every episode, but the writers really dropped the ball not giving us anything besides crumbs in season 4. I also started to lose interest around season 5 and I was ready for the show to be over when they announced season 6 would be the last. I'm glad they got it right in the end. It's just super frustrating how some writers think that once couples are together that they are automatically boring and cannot write for them. It's lazy and ridiculous. I always reference The Mindy Project season 3 as my favorite example of how funny and great it can be when the two leads finally get together -- there wasn't a dull moment and the show was at its peak.
