Thanks for Pioneering Synth Computer music! I built a 36 module Synth in the early 80's later bought a Oberhiem Synth. Presently Using the Korg KRONOS. Lots of creative avenues. I started as a guitarist and have been playing for 54 years now.

I had never heard of Laurie Spiegel when I was introduced to her music (maybe five or six years ago). I love her work on its own terms, but it's really cool to get some insight into how it comes to be. I would never have been able to intuit this on my own.

very cool! i love the early computer days... i loved dotmatrix lol.. you are a huge inspirational source for me... also i learned so much of how to "realize synthesis" from your creations and i just think u are the bee's knees lol.... you are a true pioneer in this world and so cool to be able to connect with you... thanks for sharing all this epic stuff ...you are the experience ... Very good video, but not the first realtime digital synthesis. Giuseppe di Giugno built the 4a processor with realtime 1000 oscillators or 500 filters, in 1975

The Alles machine was amazing - whatever happened to it? I saw another video of producing various telephone network sounds. And another with Roger Powell playing it. It’s too bad this doesn’t seem to exist anymore. Way ahead of its time.

A scientist and an artist. I'm impressed. As a connoiseur of drone, space, noise, etc., I'm shocked I hadn't discovered your work till last night on Apple Music. Since then it's quickly risen to the top - the very top - of my list.
