Kinda poor taste re the message of song and timing I get it if it’s a bring awareness to school shootings thingy

97th View; 4th Like; 8 hours after posting; 3rd comment; long time listener, not my first calling... 😜 It was really tough to deal with their backlighting sweeping spots into the audience, the sound on the "fairground" plaza, ex-salt laydown area from when it was an industrial site is actually quite good. Sizzling leads from Rick Mitaratondo just shredding (4:40 to 5:12) was the highlight of this vid, IMHO. His strumming and chords from 8:50 through to 11:05 came a close second. The severe splashes of lighting and the fuzzy resolution due to the dramatic differences between light and dark areas in the field of view are unfortunate. Audio 9.1/Video 6.7 amateur ranking and... in the course of the 12 minutes the likes jumped to 5 and the watches increased to 102. Keep Rocking!🥈🎸🎼🎵🎶🎶🎶🎵

Thanks, Sojahsey1, for recording - and for posting so fast. I'm appreciating (from afar) the fortuitous lighting change from opener "I Could Drive You Crazy" - began the show in daylight, then twilight, then night falls, as seen in this one "American Dreaming." Thanks, Mother Nature, you turned Sierra Ferrell's concert into a three-act play. Night = finality, so I feel sorry for whoever had to follow Sierra Ferrell. whomever idk. btw Sunday 9/8/24 Sierra Ferrell plays Royal Oak. MI. then has one entire day off. On the 10th of September she plays the Carnegie Hall of Canada (amirite?) - Massey Hall, Toronto. detour: pipedream ahead: Wouldn't Josh Rilko's mandolin sound great framing Sierra Ferrell's cover of "Closer Still"??? (Tish Hinojosa) which, btw, hasn't happened. yet ;-)

What did you record this with? I was probably not far from you, but my vids are nowhere this good, nor could i zoom in this far. I was using an iPhone 11.

This whole night was magical. The night before was interrupted by a strong electrical storm (imagine that...at a Dead show?) that dampened the vibe. This was one of those where they fired up the vista cruiser, took off and didn't look back until they sent all of us home with a smile on our faces and love in our hearts.

Just like being at a party with a band playing in the background. Kinda hard to talk over the music but hey - you just gotta speak up! It's hard not to feel a bit of contempt for the "chomper" class of attendee. I guess the sphere is optimized for selling experiences to consumers so you get a lot of people who don't really know how to or care to listen. They went to a show. Saw a bunch of cool visuals. Sorta heard the music.

talking 10 minutes to do that! I love this song and did a version of it. I don't know if my version is good enough, but you still have work to reach a milestone worth the original...
