@@adnan-ec8ls Sektor can pressure better than Mavado … for combo extensions both have good extensions but Mavado has more variety since you can combo from most of Shang’s moves with Mavado. In the end both are good kameos for Shang but I myself prefer Sektor.

When doing corner combos, let’s say you doing a combo with old shang, do you ever end combo with young Shang ex spikes to get a lot of pressure to your opponent? I do it because it allows me to keep them jailed in the corner like I use sektor and will throw out a missle and and keep that pressure to mix up going and sometimes they try to wake up our try to jump and nope! Keep your ass in the corner! 😂 Shang is a deadly character if used right!

Haha that’s a very good tactic right there, I never tried myself but will try doing it. Haven’t been playing online for a few months now, the flame isn’t burning like before. I still like Shang and to do mess around in lab to get new tech.

I personally think this is Shang’s best kameo, I was using shujinko at first but I get more wins on KL with Sektor Shang, very good team

The timing is very tight in this one … using close skulls instead of middle skulls can help you with gravity and give you a better timing window

@@thesun4892 gotchaaa. Word. I was working on something similar that I saw Faysal do, where he ended the BNB with the jab string into spikes, but timed it so that the spikes hit after they got up from being knocked down. I dunno if it's commonly used or not, but this reminds me of that

@@OcculticaMedia I saw some Shang/ferra dudes do this spikes delay after knocking the opponent down to force them to block low when they wake up then hit them with the ferra overhead. I think it’s similar to what you mentioned.

I was expecting to see some kind of pressure strategy not combo extentions, shang dont need that he does good damage alone without kameos. What shang need is pressure and nothing else to ensure than projectiles chip them down and make it easier to open them up.

@@daquancurry7805 he needs more up close pressure tools, boy is still not that good up close, yeah they gave him all the new moves but it’s totally dependant on the Kameo that the opponent is using, basically they just made another Shujinko but as a main roster character, even the new f34 is not really a mix up, we been asking for buffs for a whole year yet they give Liu Kang a new move no one even asked for, nrs is just dog water.

Hell no. He doesn't have the tools characters like sindel,johhnny,homelander,and havik have,and sub kameo is still a hard counter. The bed of spikes buff was great,and the kameo copy is ight at best. Sektor,and cryax added even more to his plate. He's not bad, but needs more still.

@@Synical02 yeah totally agree, I can’t say I’m fully happy with the buff, it’s still situational, they just made a main roster Shujinko. I would’ve wanted some frame changes but I guess there is no hope with nrs.

Can you use the same pressure method with sektor like kano ball the f4 string into spike cancel and maintain your turn/ pressure

@@dillon8955 you can, but be aware that both Sektor and Kano can be armoured, that is if the opponent knows they can armour, you can use it as a bait for them and block their armour then punish them.

@@James_Kosmo lol you’re right but sometimes the ex air skulls don’t send them far up so I don’t want to drop the combo … s2 is very fast to catch them before they fall, especially when a match is a bit laggy.
