Hey @Coastal603 i just received even more exciting info on the NYE display and its actually quite amazing. 4 aerial pyrotechnic platforms infront of the bridge and opera house are being added to the display, which allows for drop comet fireworks to fire which create images such as fish, and in addition a waterfall effect of the bridge this year will spell the word SYDNEY!

It's not great that they changed the fireworks into the calling country because the kids have to watch this

The waterfall looks like it snapped halfway through.

Riverfire is basically taking SydneyNYE, putting it in Brisbane, moving it to September, doubling the length of the show, moving all the barges that were to the east of the bridge, in front of south bank, reverting the soundtrack to how it was created pre-COVID, and removing the pontoons.

Hey @Coastal603 have you hear the upcoming new years display is going to be the biggest yet?! Its going to contain 8 Barges ( A new one of the west ) 264 positions on the bridge including 80 positions on the western side, 5 rooftops, The 4 sails of the opera house, 1 new land site. New effects like birds and fish, as well as new spotlights on barges. Are you watching this year and where? Cant wait if your recording footage, so I can view!

I like Queensland Railway crossings due to how unique they are. Though they could use bells instead of alarms.

Queensland railway crossings look like candy canes. Don't lick them though. It's unclear why Queensland got rid of the bells at level crossings

That's a fairly good freight spotting area throughout the day. About 4-6 trains a day? They should bring back passenger service along there, its a unique little route capable of serving South Beach, South Fremantle and Coogie!

I like the Western Australia Railway Crossings. They're unique with how they make their level crossings known. The locomotive in the video is GML10 and it's a loner. It should be preserved when it's retired

Howard and Sons always do a marvellous job, no matter how big or small the show. The use of the pyro drones shows they have taken some possible notes from Ras al-Khaimah's NYE celebrations in the United Arab Emirates. If only they were contracted to do Sydney's.

Amazing display. Love the implementation of drones. Sound track was nice. Fireworks were much better than pervious years lasting 2x longer then last year, aswell as a cracker finale. Love it!

Vantage points have been made free by the NSW government, getting a good spot requires getting there rather early. I waited 15 hours at Kirribilli for this show! It was the first time I tried something like this but I think it was well worth the wait. Best show ever!

Love the fireworks this year! They did so well with the sequences and the amount of shells firing out was mind blowing, soundtrack I loved the one more revolution sounds like tame impala and finale, WOW!
