I miss being a kid and going to the fair every year, the food was straight trash though, the snacks were good, infinite popcorn and desserts, "free" prizes and stuff.

There’s many communities like this in CA, this one just happens to be the one people know of because of the celebrities. Look up Nellie Geil or Rancho Santa Fe 😉

While there are dozens, if not 100’s of gated Communities/Neighborhoods in California there are only three, private, gated incorporated Cities in the state. Hidden Hills, Rolling Hills in the Palos Verdes peninsula and Canyon Lake in Riverside County.

Just as comparison it is 90 to $150 to build per square foot in michigan. You got to be freaking kidding me. Even in Arizona the price to build is only $170 per square foot. Y'all smoking crack for that land
@j1346799 ай бұрын
its near the different tv/film studios of hollywood, which is why the price is so high. Also right by a freeway exit, and is close to the beach in the west. It has all sorts of things going for it if you're in the hollywood industry.
@saita3012 жыл бұрын
That is a ridiculous price for building I don't care how much money you have. $2,000 per square foot of property. Per square foot? A small and simple 400 square foot space would cost you almost a million dollars 😱😱😱😱😱😱 and just in reference as to how small 400 ft is look up those boxable homes. This is ridiculous there's no way in hell I'd ever pay that much money to stay in california.

I grew up in HH from 1971 to 1992.... Boy has it changed and not in a good way. But, frankly, it started changing in the late 80s when the Beverly Hills people started coming in. During summers we used to play sand volleyball at the community center until 1am...Sheriff would run us kids off...But sometimes we would challenge the deputees to a game and they actually play.
@georgethompson3763 Жыл бұрын
Can you elaborate on how it changed?
@robgrt Жыл бұрын
@@georgethompson3763 Way more horses. We had the Hidden Hills Pony Club with about 90 kids all riding their own ponies or horses. None probably were bought for more that $140 back in the 70s and 80s. Also, we had the Hidden Hills Valting club. By the late 80s. We started getting more city people moving in. Who liked the idea of "seeing" horses but not owning. THey would then bulldose the ranch style houses and try to build massive beverly hills style mansions if the lot permitted it and remove the horse part of the property and put in lighted tennis courts. Boy, that was a massive fight. We always has celebrities. But they had kids and their kids went to the local schools. I would say in the 90s things really changed as the developers and big real estate agents got ahold of the city council and mayors and things went down hill from there. It became less of the family city and more of a celeb hangout for their 2nd to 4th house in their collection. Now there are spec house flippers that are all making carbon copy fake farmhouse style homes and trying to sell them for $20Million which take years to sell.

Hey Bob's Burgers, I can see massive potential in your content production, like improved transitions in videos, camera angles, and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, etc.) Give me a DM, and we can discuss this further. Loved the vid and am a huge fan of Hidden Hills!
