I was there to bring in New Year 2025 ! Had a blast. Happy to hear it’s owned by the locals . The band was very good but did not play any Goan songs - primarily catered to the local tourists . Overall had a blast. Best of luck …

We finished watching the full podcast video of @⁨Raj Borkar⁩. He has spoken so well. Whether it's him talking about ABS issues in cars or semiconductor shortage issues during covid times, the whole conversation is so interesting that it can easily make anyone watch it. That's because the fluency with which Raj has spoken without any lag whatsoever. This fluency without lag also showcases Raj's honesty in all his answers. For me, the sweetest moment is when Raj is recalling the memories he has of his late father when the car selling business started. Sometimes his dad would wash some of the cars himself while Raj's mom helped him clean the car seats or the mats. Also, i liked many such moments in the video where Raj can be seen answering the questions with his big and contagious smile. Raj has explained various nuances about his field so interestingly. Dealing with clients, patiently attending those many calls, returning their missed calls even when he is abroad yet maintaining a healthy balance between work and family. According to me, the reason Raj has many friends and followers is because of the fact that inspite of selling common cars in addition to many high end cars, he has always been a polite and humble person to deal with. He treats low profile and high profile clients both with an equal amount of respect. This also sets an example to all entrepreneurs of how they can learn from him. One amazing incident is when he sold a high end car to a client and years later offered him a much higher price to buy that same car back again. The description of collectors collection cars and how they spend money to maintain those cars because those people are car enthusiasts and various such information has been described so nicely by Raj. Raj was very young when his dad passed away, he then had to carry forward the legacy all by himself. Raj hasn't spoken much about the challenges he faced while taking over but im sure his loved ones know about that. At a very young age, Raj had already learnt many ways he could shape the business further because of his keen observation. Although his dad had prepared a base, Raj turned it into a dream come true project. Even after his father passing away, Raj took the business to greater heights while there were many who wondered whether Raj would be successful at such a young age. Like how proud and happy Raj's mother is feeling now, he's father too would have felt the same if he was alive. As his friends describe him, Raj is full of energy, always on his phone. Even after finishing the interview he had almost 26 missed calls and messages too. Raj has a team now and they are planning to come up with a service workshop for the cars that he sells, and this is something new which will be a welcome move for his clients. For this to happen, Raj is planning to take the steps carefully and everyone wishes him luck. All history and service record is systematically viewed by Raj and his staff before purchasing the car for reselling. This makes it safe to buy cars from Raj Automobiles. We purchased a car from him in the year 2018 and the whole experience was hassles free as Raj made sure we were satisfied. The car is still running flawlessly. Towards the end of the interview, Raj has a message for young people not to be "suseggad" or laid back by being satisfied immediately. One should complete with himself and set higher goals , and not to worry about what others are doing. You should do your best, Raj advised. Raj is married to my sister in law and her late maternal grandfather had a showcase filled with toy cars. My sister in law was very lucky in her childhood for she would get to see and play with those toy cars in the showcase. Today she is even more lucky to own a showroom filled with real cars. Apart from being a professional in the auto industry, he is a great singer and a stage performer too and makes sure he keeps his friends and family entertained. As i conclude my review and feedback about Raj's podcast video, i can proudly say that Raj is like how Shahrukh Khan is in his field. This is my first time writing a review about a podcast video, and it was a wonderful experience for me as a viewer too. Thankyou, The origin ,for sharing such content about the journey of visionary people which is very inspiring for everyone. Thankyou Raj for sharing the podcast video with us.

Christine Leitao, it's just like one goan to run down another. Envy and false pride. For a change, why not be happy that a goan is doing well and 😅 him. It will go a long way in Goa developing and retaining its ethos, something which is changing rapidly with the influx of outsiders. It's better than complaining that Goa is no longer what it used to be.
