I am currently on my 2 nd Goldwing, a 2015 40th anniversary model with 90k miles. Best bike I’ve owned in some 65 years of street riding

Is it true the French don't pay road tax that's why it's so expensive for everyone else to travel through France ,we don't mind paying a little to use the road but we don't want to buy it obscene price's.The British should travel for nothing since we have fought for it twice and we have thousands of our men folk buried in your cemeterys.

Fantastic bike. Great colour scheme 👍🏻 I had the previous gen 600RR. Swapped it for a new Fireblade and regretted it. I had more fun on the 600.

It’s a fantastic package and one of the best value for money you can get .. I could imagine that the blade has to much power to play with on the road but it’s a fine looking bike !!

Ferry is a walk in the park ! You’re going from Portsmouth ain’t you ?? That’s a more modern ferry but it stops over in France on the way doesn’t it so it takes a little longer .. I loved the ferry and the food , the entertainment isn’t half bad as well !

Stunning! And the CVO is probably the best sounding bike I’ve heard in a while… hope you got plenty of looks from other bikers wishing they’d brought a CVO for the trip 😂

Them rinehart exhausts sound ok don’t they ! Cost a bit getting them in to the uk but worth it ! Haven’t you changed yours yet , i know you was on about back when you got the bike back ? The only looks i get is when I forget what side of the road I’m meant to be riding 🤣

@@mrts.bike.adventureshaha they do sound great. I’m getting a slip on for mine (tab performance) but dealer needs to adjust the tune. Not a problem but they also told me with the trip ive got coming up I’d be better off getting the exhaust done once I get back? Something about the Spanish not liking loud exhausts. Obviously you were ok with yours. Maybe I should just get it now???

@@aaron.black107 I’ve never been on a ferry over night before so it was all new to me , I felt a bit dizzy for a couple of hours but I went outside and had a coffee and felt ok after that , I had a good sleep and fine by the morning, food and everything was great and not expensive at all , had a great time on the ferry 👍👍

@@MuhammadTariqKhan-xb1zv it wasn’t expensive and the motorways are some of the best traffic free roads so if you want to get A to B fast they are ideal .. I stopped in champagne (France ) for the night on the way there and then straight to Switzerland 🇨🇭

@@mrts.bike.adventures Brov, infact it’s a last mints plan originally we are on with the plan to go Disneyland paris and around from 12 Aug to 16 Aug but my wife saying as we r gong by car so why don’t we go to Switzerland as from paris it’s v approachable and heard v beautiful, in Aug prices r higher so struggling to look for accommodation, can u advise any place to book there in swiss and how many days u stayed there and what places u looked around there ?

Been there loads of times, not by bike though, there's a Red Kite feeding station near there at Nant-Yr-Arian... If you get there at 3pm hundreds of them turn up to be fed...

Inc a road glide ride (not a CVO like yours though) Can’t believe how much heavier they are than my sport glide when trying to manoeuvre. Nearly got caught out with it once or twice 😆
