I live here too, what I see on streets are furniture, debris and tree branches, after Andrew, that was the only thing that you would see, NO houses standing at all. We never knew how many people died, in my opinion, that was because the number was way too high, back then, we had a lot of illegals here and, maybe, that’s why we never knew exactly how many people died....

@@carlacovert3745 Believe me, I was in Miami during Andrew, when we went to visit my family right after the hurricane in homestead, we couldn’t even drive on the streets; I still remember body bags being burned along with debris in the Everglades....The good thing is that we had a lot of help back then, I remember the mountains of clothings and plenty of canned foods everywhere, even on the streets, even food stores gave everything for free before the hurricane, it was like candy in Halloween. Took days to happen, but it did, government also paid for people to stay in hotels in Miami Beach and so on. I do believe Andrew was a combination of everything, hurricane, tornadoes and flooding! Andrew came at night wish made it worse...

I must Say It's totally good to be self examining for living life in the 21st. Century. o__o
