It's just horrendous. I had laser pointer eye damage in 2001. But luckily it got better. Still have some black floaters, but nothing like these stories. 😢

What about PRK? I need to have 20/20 for police and special forces. Is PRK that risky too? God bless

Lasik ruined my eyes and life. I would rather not be alive after what Lasik did to me. Don't trust Lasik doctors. They are not real doctors but snake oil salesmen that have a license to damage people and eyes. My grandfather is a retired doctor and told me Lasik "doctors" were not real doctors and they were the types that could not get a real job so they chased lasik for the money.

Listen to this doctor. He is one of the finest in the world. DO NOT have Lasik because it is a scam, doesn't work, and you will probably become disabled and the suicidal thoughts will never go away.

I am 26 of age I had -8.50 prescription I was working on that should I do lasik or not After watching your video I understood that ICL surgery is more safe then Lasik Am I correct or not. I understanded that ICL is just a lens that doctor puts in your eyes the original eye structure remains good so it's more safe then Lasik. I am planning on doing that in future

Wish there was videos like this in 2007 I would have better vision. LASIK was good until 2016. Then started getting Starbursts halo and bad vision. Then early cactrats . I WISH I COULD GO BACK.

I was seriously considering getting lasik, after my brother sending me a video of whistlindiesel about his lasik, now this, and many other information about the ones that went wrong.. I decided to never do it.

Why operate on a healthy cornea..while everyone will need nearby glasses and other age related eye procedures later in life. Just get glasses..and stay away from lenses as well.

I am so satisfied with Lasik. I'm blind in one eye and blind up close in both eyes but at least I can see 20/20 out of my one eye. I'm so Happy with Dr. Manger.

People who had a good experience need to be aware of the fact that the long-term drawbacks are not known as people who have good outcomes can still develop complications years down the road.

Can you talk more about how post-lasik surgeries are riskier. Like for cataracts, glaucoma, or injury-related surgeries. I know one person who has lasik (and has chronic dry eye). Now he has cataracts in both eyes and he’s gone to multiple doctors who are hesitant to perform it bc he doesn’t have his lasik records bc the company that performed it is out of business. Yet when you Google it, you find all these lasik companies saying “lasik has no effect on future corneal or lens surgeries” but that’s just not true.

Less than 1% has always been a lie. Anecdotally, I know 5 people who have gotten lasik. They all have some complaints. All 5. None of their complications are severe, but they’re all experiencing dry eyes, light sensitivity, pain. All of them.
