Why use his 1979 solo album cover to talk about 1975? Are you new to how dates work?

Bro I'm 52 and I was convinced as a kid I was going to be Ace Freyley. Coming from a musical family I learned piano first and then guitar. Since then I played guitar for several bands. The last one was 10 years playing Death metal all thank you to Ace

Gene $immons will find this channel, say he created it and steal of the royalties. Gene created air, the sun, airplanes, electricity, banks and time. I hated $immons Weak link was Criss and Beth was a sell out. I met Paul once and he was amazingly cool. I followed Kiss because of Ace. My first expensive guitar was a '72 Les Paul Studio in tobacco sunburst. It's the only guitar I have left. Love me some Ace! I saw them for the first time in '77

I love Ace's playing from this era...he was and is EXTREMELY influential and that cannot be denied. What he brought was a stinging, sustaining lead tone, incredible feel and key repetition of basic sequences injected into licks he ripped from his influences.....and his most natural attribute to me was his incredible vibrato. Fantastic vibrato. You can always tell a natural player by their vibrato. Ace's vibrato is stunning, and he used it well.

In 1975, I was 6 years old. The moment I heard Ace playing guitar, I knew I was going to play one too. I may not be very good, but I still love playing guitar and I owe it all to him...and maybe a little to Jimi.

Man, KISS in ‘75, at their absolute best, completely still a united front in spite of the differences of character, some of the best rock has to offer. Ace was my first influence to pick up a guitar and KISS the first band that inspired me to start up a band. Cheers Ace!

What I don't get is the stigma on Ace was he was drunk out of his mind, can't play, etc, etc. Every one of these videos he appears to all there and playing the some what right notes. What gives??? Also learned he played a Les Paul junior. He's Ace!!!

KISS was awesome in the 70s, and Ace was a great rock guitar player. He had style and no matter how fast you are you can’t learn that. He had feel and emotion in his playing and we might not have had Dimebag, John 5, Jerry Cantrell, or countless other guitarists if it wasn’t for his inspiration.

I loved em when I was a kid, and still occasionally listen. I ran into a woman in Walmart looking at Kiss t shirt. When I asked if she was a fan, she said that she loved em when she was young, and still likes the music, but as a mature woman, she couldn't get with the lyrics. 😂 Ace rocks. I had to edit to mention that I was not aware anyone was pointing a camera at Ace when he was wailing. I saw a interview he did and he commented about the fact that in the videos when he was soloing they always showed Paul prancing around. He was right and should have gotten his mug time. Especially during his solos.
