What's the number one thing that made you such a good singer, aside from alot of practice of course? You're becoming one of my favorites

I don't have a clear vision, practice or technique that "made me" but I think I like a more "natural" sounding voice personally. Something cozy and unornamented, and I think there are many proficient singers who sing "too much" for my taste. So maybe you too are responding to that taste! And maybe embracing the natural timbre of your voice when singing literal melodies will lead to satisfying places in your own singing
