The dam on this stretch of the river is the des plaines and kankakee flowing into the illinois river. Very dangerous to eat fish out of there because the water is very dirty. Contaminated with PCB's and Thorium from dumping in the first half of the 20th century. Be careful when eating out of these rivers and enjoy the fishing

muskey was fine , she was caught by an other angler 8 days later on the same spot lol . finger is doing ok but i have reduced my crank bait fishing lol
