Not quite so wild and harried as some faster versions out there, but an absolutely beautiful, concise, delivery and articulation. Thank you for the inspiration, as I am working on this piece myself, FestivalWissembourg. :)

Beautiful and compelling performance! This might be the most Haydn-esque of the Beethoven quartets. So lovely to hear it played in that style! Extremely fine intonation, ensemble playing, and phrasing. Thank you!

About ten years ago, he had a serious accident, followed by a long illness, and hasn't performed since.

10:06 Nerdy question - last high note of 1st mvt, 1st Violin: I've heard this done with a super-high Eb as here, and also as written lower octave. I prefer this version, what about other people??

i tre quartetti per archi sono magnifici, ma il terzo e' un capolavoro assoluto, il quartetto ebene e' ,attualmente, il miglior quartetto in circolazione!
