I hated riding these things (in actual passenger wise not enthusiast wise), last time I went on one was at Barnham and that was about 4 days before they started getting taken out of service, but now when I look back on these trains, they aren't too bad! Certainly end of an era

@@PurplesTrainsUK been lots of changes in recent years,I do miss the hsts at Didcot and Reading etc.I did go on the 313s quite a bit though quite liked them

Saw 56049 fail yesterday evening, I'm not going to Westbury this week, had to cancel sadly, but I may end up going on Monday or Tuesday next week (a lot of cancellations including my train yesterday haha) Definitely doing Redbridge on Thursday to see the New Measurement Train, also yesterday a Colas 70 + 56 went rom Eastleigh to Sydenham which was cool to see!

Nice video, seems like they are putting 701s on the test runs again! Although I and a few other people reckon they won't last long in the fleet.

@@chalky2655 They will be in service **for now** but ASLEF and RMT have rejected them and do not like them, as also we have SWR getting nationalized next year we could see the replacement of these trains but its a 50/50 at this point

We now have pathing's for the 37+57+mk3+43058, its at around 1400 and 1500, there's a Crewe H.S. > Eastleigh and a Eastleigh > Crewe
