Ngl, hearing a damn near god say "i will consume you. I will unmake you" would have me shaking in my boots bc damn youve really pissed them off 😅 But Lae'zel's "Vlaakith cannot unmake she who no longer exists" is one of the greater lines in the game imo

Baker Mayfield has some REAL weapons on this team. Not to mention just how underrated and under the radar Mike Evans is across the league as a Wide Receiver. Mike Evans had a huge regular season this year with 1200+ years, and 13 TDs. Good year for a number one. Baker had Chris Godwin for those slot spots on the field. Bucs have legit weapons, and a decent QB can get you places with that. Just don't pull a Jameis Winston.

People always say that laezel is easy to romance when the reality is that for her sex is nothing and this is the culmination of her romance. In my playthrough she wasn’t allied with vlakith so she didn’t break upz.

LOL you guys are funny. I know I've made bad choices. So what?? It's a game. The bad choices are the most fun. The thing that confused me was the fact my relationship with Laezel was at max and she still dumped me. Figured out it was because I went through the underdark and not the mountain pass that lead to this cutscene. So I backtracked and redid everything and got the good ending. No biggie lol.

Reject Vlakith, embrace Orpheus. Allow Orpheus to sacrifice himself. Tell Lae’zel to stay with you at the very, very end. And there you go! You get to selfishly have her all to yourself while her people begin what is sure to be an extremely bloody and horrific civil war! She’ll probably only stay temporarily, but still, the rest you can just headcannon.

Play gith MC then headcanon that you join her in the civil war. Since you're level 12 at the start of it you should be legendary heroes of the war.

It is realistic tho. Every other romance companion accepts you even in mindflayer form. But for the Githyanki mindflayers are the ultimate evil and killing them is the whole goal of the Githyankis. She might respect you and see you as a hero for your sacrifice, but I can understand that we probably disgust her

I had NO CLUE this cutscene could go differently. You must have royally fucked her questline. Maybe you also have to romance her to get the good cutscene.

that IS a romance scene. what i am guessing is, i guess i should put this here just in case SPOILER ALERT!!, The player chose to have Lae'zel side with Vlaakith instead of Orpheus. Basically the "turn into a dark justiciar", but for Lae'zel.

If you convince Lae'Zel to go against the queen and convince her that Orpheus is the true Prince of Gith then you will not have this cutscene.

I don't think you do? I've never gone down that path but I think the créch is the only place to do it. She'll only turn on Vlaakith if Vlaakith hates your party.

I opposed the queen the entire playthrough, and just convinced her to trust my judgmemt. Wasnt long after that the " dream guardian" in ur head tells u that the queen is a fraud. I told her immediately after, and at first she didnt believe it until Voss came to my camp, to tell her the same thing. Ive just always thought that was the best path to take. I know from the begining how much of a bitch that woman was. Anyone who rages about not being obeyed, has a degree of narcism and probably dosent mean well for their people. Her reaction gave me indication i knew i made the right decision.

@@damienjohnson3450 Actually, not true! My first playthrough I didn't do the Mountain Pass at all. Lae'Zel wound up my first choice for romance options (My Captain Kirk syndrome kicked in; I'm drawn to the green alien ladies). She resisted the idea that Orpheus was still a thing, but eventually she came around. If I recall correctly, when Vlakith paid a house call to our camp, that was the moment Lae'Zel put on her big girl pants and told the Lich Queen to go f*** herself. My approval rating with her was pretty high, so maybe that's why? Man, this game... The amount of variability in the plot lines is just staggering. People can have just completely different experiences with each play through! Love it!

When you try to fix laezel and dont let her simp for the ugly necromancer god larper, she stays with you and changes you to this long title that ends up being "source of my bruises, source of my joy and enlightener" or something like that, it was so touching and lovely, im going to SLAM jaheira this next playthrough though cuz gilfussy
