Even after decluttering I still have stuff and don't need anything else. 😂 I have a place to store new socks and I keep having to throw the older ones away. Definitely do not use Tresseme shampoo as I think there have been lawsuits or something about hair falling out. I used to coupon for it and I heard that and got rid of all of it lol 😝

So mom got sent back to the hospital yesterday and they did surgery today and this was something they should have taken care of the first time she was in there. She was there 2 weeks and I cannot understand why they didn't fix this issue. So annoying. She has suffered all these weeks bc they didn't go ahead and do it then. Anyway most of her confusion seems to have cleared up!!! Yay! My sister is with her and she says mostly she's making sense. So that's really good news. And she was very sick and was confused this AM so it sounds like she's improving.

Thank you! She was better yesterday. They were giving her melatonin and it was making her crazy, just shows you not everyone can take every supplement. Thankfully she figured it out herself. I didn't know they were giving her that to supposedly help her sleep 🙄

Today we heard prob going to rehab on Monday, I really hope so bc I need to go back to work. I'm still having to help her eat but she was much better today. PTL! 🙏🏼💜

A friend posted a recipe on her fb and she says she just sets the butter in the middle of the dry ingredients and microwaves it. She says it works! If I did that the butter would blow up all over my microwave. I'm afraid to try it LOL 😂

@dianasimplifies We're doing better, thank you. I still miss him very much, but I don't cry the way I did. Hardly at all, even, but still sadness, although, I'm not always thinking about him. It helps when I'm distracted. (We have a couple event- extended family events- Thanksgiving today, and next weekend my middle son is getting married. Also, we're raking leaves this time of year.) Anyway, we have the two cats. Maybe I already told you this. A couple weeks ago, my husband opened the back door, which we hadn't done since Sam died, and Loki ran back there, looked around, and did a sorrowful meow. He's never been without Sam. They both want lots of attention. How are you doing? I've been thinking about you and wondering if it's gotten easier for you.

@ we are ok. That is funny about the leaves. We used to have 2 elm trees that started shedding in August. We finally decided to cut those down and I haven't raked any this year 😂 Hubby is mowing and bagging leaves right now, it's still warm here. Almost 70 today but cooling off in a few days.

@@dianasimplifies You have some nice days still. We're in Ohio and this next week it's ranging some days in the 30's and other days in the 60s. 😂You never know what the day will bring.😉 Generally, I like the seasonal changes though. But yeah, we have 3 oak trees on less than an acre and lots of leaves.

@qtluvBilly3 oh wow yes oaks do have tons of leaves. We do have several oaks next to the hwy where I would have personally never planted huge trees lol. But I think maybe they are pin oak. But they are in what we call "the field" not our main yard so I don't rake out there. I actually love to rake. Good exercise and good for depression! 💙

Yeah it is supposed to be hooked in there so it doesn't just slip out, I think Spencer fixed mine where it doesn't do that. It's supposed to be hooked onto something.

@@dianasimplifies We're enjoying the weather in Tennessee! It's gorgeous out here and it's great to see that most of the fall colors haven't quite popped yet. In the part of Wisconsin where we're from all the fall colors have pretty much come and gone and we're getting ready for winter (which I don't mind as winter's my favorite season). Tennessee also has a bunch of gorgeous historic houses/huge mansions out here which are also really pretty with the hills as well!

@NoahMarissa yesssss!!!! So glad you are enjoying the pretty fall colors! Thankfully we haven't had much of a freeze so a lot of the leaves are still on the trees. Lol. Glad you enjoy winter, I can't stand it hahahahaha. I don't think I've been to Columbia. Maybe we need to plan a short trip there. I love looking at antebellum homes. Ours is 1890's. The Union army burned everything down in our town sadly. Ours is the 2nd oldest home.

I just looked it up, we are only 3 hours from there.

@@dianasimplifies Columbia, is a beautiful place! We would definitely come back here in the future too! There's so many fun and cute things to do out here! We definitely also want to come back and see more of rural Tennessee. Are there any towns/cities in Tennessee that you'd recommend we'd visit?♥
